Under rating threshold (show) This was an excellent game. The only changes I would make are to the menus. There should be a way to mass-assign units; at the end of the game in "Harder", I was sending 30-60 soldiers on each zombie-killing mission (once I sent 86, which STILL didn't clear the block they were attacking).

Under rating threshold (show) The higher difficulty levels are entirely based on luck. It doesn't matter how many defenders you have, your base gets overrun all the time. Random events constantly kill people, destroy food, and lower morale, and theres nothing you can do about it. They're not worth playing.

Under rating threshold (show) Harder and above is just ridiculous. It's all luck that you don't get all of your soldiers wiped out by random events or swarmed over by a ridiculously low number of zombies. That is of course barring a riot on day two that stops all progress.

Under rating threshold (show) @ikacio Four. 1 is controlling every square, 2 is research cure for zombieism (you need ALL techs, 3 labs, 5 scientists and 50% happiness and 10 days). 3 - find evil graveyard, kill all zombies there (a lot, it's overruned), then with 15 soldiers, destroy portal (10 days required). 4 - find City Hall, kill all zombies(overrun... again.), then use 5 leaders to make a consitution, you need also 50% happines and 10 days. Note that when you are destroying portal, making a consitution or researching cure, hordes are appearing way frequenter (though no more than 1 horde at a time).

Under rating threshold (show) After 364 days, a total of 72 survivors managed to get last block of city. Portal was closed, zombieism was cured, and there is a goverment in city. Hell yeah. Btw, there were 135 squares... - 9 were building that takes 2 squares, including hall and graveyard. 7 dead survivors (lol +700 points), 16573 food produced, 85 happines gained, 314 mission completed,1645 zombies killed, 9 techs researched, 4 endings, MVP:Brock Mitchell (8,100 points). On easy ("multiplied" by 0.75), a total of 172,755 points (after penalty from Day 365). Again, HELL YEAH.

Under rating threshold (show) Finally got the hard badge done. Did it a little differently than most-- Where I started had 2 farms, a big farm, 3 apartments, a lab, and a gas station. Not too far away was another gas station, which of course can be turned into labs. Got very unlucky at the end with losing 3 20% mobs in a row, but still completed it. Awesome game.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game, though every game can be improved. For example: 1) Warehouses allow to stock more food; 2) McNoodles allow for better prepared food (well, I guess the cooking appliances are still there, right?), perhaps with a very slight happiness boost from time to time? (or less often happiness decreases); 2½) With suggestions 1 and 2, allow to create McNoodles and Warehouses; 3) Zoom in and out option; 4) Sort and filter (ex. activity (dead, idle, busy), type (soldier, scavenger, no specialization, etc.)) the survivor list, and compact mode (smaller text and icons, allows for better overview); 5) Change big farms into big suburbs; And there could be more, but these are only slight improvements on an amazing game!

Under rating threshold (show) The game has 4 endings: 1.Controll all squares 2.After completing all researches (in the lab) there will be a new research called "Cure Zombeism" which needs 50% happiness,5 scientist and the control of 3 labs(i mean you have to reclaim 3 labs).It will take 10 turn to finish this research and win. 3.Eventually you will discover a City Hall square which will have A LOT of zombies (Overrun).Reclaim it and you'll need 50% happiness again and 5 Leaders.This will take 10 turns too to win. 4.If you kill all the zombies fro the Evil graveyard (which are a lot,overrun again) and reclaim it you will be able to close the portal and win the game.It takes 50% happiness (again) and 15 soldiers.You will win after 10 turns. Note that you CAN get all the 3 remaining endings after completing 1.And Smithman, there IS an ending for the evil graveyard

Under rating threshold (show) This game feels a lot like a miniature Sid Meier's Civilization. Securing food, climbing the research tree, repelling "barbarians", expanding your "empire", maintaining happiness, improving the land... and of course, "just one more turn". A few niggling bugs like the defense duty updating problem, but wow - there's a ton here for a Flash game. The 4.5+ average rating is deserved.

Under rating threshold (show) i think it would be easier to organize/keep track of what's happening if i could assign tasks/missions first by person and then by location, and also some distinguishing icon for occupied people on missions vs. occupied people guarding the fort. such a fantastic game, though.

Under rating threshold (show) In addition to Tezmeister, I would like to see instead of a overall happiness meter, a individual happiness meter for each survivor. Makes you feel more in touch with your people, and would make more sense for when someone losses an eye, they won't be able to work anymore.

Under rating threshold (show) This game's really fun, but what I'd like to see is the ability to name ALL of your survivors, not just your first leader. I realise it'd get a bit tedious with larger numbers, but naming survivors is fun and makes them more personal than just a randomly generated name. Also as has been said by someone else, auto-assigning idle survivors to guard duty. But apart from that, I can't think of anything else. 5/5 and fav'd

Under rating threshold (show) This helped me immensely: If you assign new recruits with plain white shirts and no flags to defending, they eventually turn into soldiers. If you assign them to building/reclaiming they turn into builders.

Under rating threshold (show) if your happiness is low, ALWAYS have at least 2 people researching on a single project. i was 2 days away from researching anti-virus, then my one scientist who was reasearching it killed himself, forcing me to start over. not cool.
