i got 130 seconds.... was kinda easy, seeing that the game was lagging because i had a few different tabs on, and i was listening to my music on media players... I like this game, its fun and can get hard. 4/5 stars

I find that since all these powerups drop in the beginning you have to either get really big so you hardly move at all or really small so your ball is more controllable then you get a spike and you can get 120 seconds in no time... Remember its either really big or really small and try to stay in the middle when you are really big... Nice game and fun badge

2 things:
Greg, don't listen to the naysayers, I enjoy the badges no matter how trite the challenge may seem. I with there were more honestly and find them a main draw when playing games. Yes, I know it's just a goofy badge online, but it still makes the game a bit more fun setting a simple reward up.
2) This game would make for a great Wii enabled game where you use the Wii Remote to control the balance. Held sideways like a candybar. You could use the API I am sure to implement this into the Wii Opera browser.
Neat little game though.

I take my last comment back. I just remembered how frustrating it is to get multiple runs lasting only 20 seconds because of unwinnable situations.

yankeedoodle, how is this a "waste of a badge"? You know the badges are just digital, right? We don't have to actually print them out or anything. We also don't have a limit on how many we can make. The biggest time factors in badges are balancing, testing, and dealing with issues that arise afterward. This game is so bug/exploit-free, and the API implementation is so clean that a badge took about 10 minutes to implement. Perhaps you value my time even more highly than I do.

118!!! Gah! At first I didn't like this game all that much, but the more I play it, the easier it seems. At first it seems random, and it is, but there are techniques to dealing with each type of problem.

I really like this game, actually. People are complaining about the randomness factor, when it can be worked around - the smaller the ball the better, and it's not that hard to make unwanted powerups or balls roll off. Great game, 5/5

Hard game did 113second first try. pretty hard, and people dont stop complaining about unwinable.... keep your ball with spikes or small and in the middle... pretty easy concept.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Feels like a proof of concept and not a game. You should be able to see what is coming and where so you can move your ball to anticipate it. Otherwise its just way too random to be any fun. As a player you have basically no control over whether you win or lose, it's all up to the random number generator.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think the randomness would be fine, if there weren't so many "unwinnable" situations that I ended up in. You're doing fine, and then all of a sudden, a few balls end up on one side of the ramp and you're dumped into this situation you can't possibly recover from. I think maybe if players had the opportunity to recover from those situations, people would enjoy the randomness factor better.

Oh my!!! The ball just felt at 120 seconds hahaha i was like "OMFG NOOOO... huh? OH YEAHHHH" lol ^^
Random game but still fun for me. 3/5

The game is way too random, and the physics seem a little off. Why make a badge for 120 seconds when the game is based more on luck? Getting something because you're lucky isn't an "achievement". You actually need to put in work in order to "achieve".
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Its random but its something I can live with somehow.
I really love to see the colours changed, the orange is kinda boring or so.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's rather too random. And extremely irritating if your Flash player glitches at 43s =S. I will play to get the card but it is not a fun game. The ball and ramp don't appear to act physically correctly – it tilts over from one extreme to the other way too fast.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game is too much luck. I got 45 secodns on 3rd try I think, then 20 something, then 119 (oh yes, missed by one second), then 7, 23, 90 something, 40 something then 158. These numbers are random. Presumably greater skill means a higher top score, but there's always the chance of being killed right at the start by big balls all on one side. Help: Stay in the middle, tip off the larger balls first, get the spikes and avoid getting the power up again since you will lose the spikes for who knows how long, and keep at around two sizes up. Too large and the point of no return is too close, too small and you lose control of the whole situation.

Haha, as soon as I hit 120 I was swamped by 8 large balls to the left. ^^ Intriguing game design, nice clean graphics but perhaps a little to luck based? 3.5/5

why does kongregate put badges for the dumbest games? if you get off just a little, therte is no chance of coming back. 1/5

This game makes me worried - because some people seem to think that, when it comes to games, the more random, the better, and that the *slightest* bit of determinism is necessarily going to make it suck. People seem to forget that games need to be *properly playable* - that is, you need to know what you are really doing. In this game, this doesn't exist. You don't properly control the platform. The keyboard isn't adequate for this game - you either abruptly shake it around, or you put the ball in a position in which you slowly, very slowly watch it fall WITHOUT any possible chance of recovery. And the other balls fall without any bit of logic or reasoning. They just do, whenever they wish, wherever they wish. Once and for all, games have to make SOME kind of sense. Even pure nonsense is some kind of sense, but this game isn't.

Any good game should have a combination of luck and skill: this has. It needs more variety though - "it's getting harder" is all very well, but I'd like something different to happen instead of a more difficult version of the same.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
As said, it's too random, or the finer points of the game are too hard to stumble across just playing. Looks good, decent music (with mute button)

And by averaged I mean such as in any given 20 second chunk, the total dropped weight on one end is equal to the other...or at least a limiter preventing too much wieght falling on one end. And by too much I mean such as 3 larger balls, since that is essentially instant death unless you're on the other edge.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's too random, you have no chance if 3 large balls drop to the one edge. Perhaps if there was something that kept the total weight somewhat averaged it would make it more fun. As it is you just have to hope/pray it does hate you.

Think the game is a little luck based. For example. First time i played it rained powerups. Second time it didn't came anything after 20 seconds.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fun game. Easy to create. Big randomness/luck factor. Replayability if you really want to get the badge.
I'm serious. Without the badge, this game wouldn't really be worth more than one or two plays. Good thing there is a badge. It gives people a reason to try to get a certain score.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Absolutely a game worth playing..! As long as u got the spiky ball, there's not a problem lasting long.. with the other balls u are too heavy or too light.. ^^
