First time i saw the black shadow thing I nearly had a heart attack, when I saw a bunch of them outside the lighthouse i was about to punch my monitor

I ended up with a golden statue at the end that wasn't used for anything.. I suppose it will be used in the sequel eluded to by the conclusion? ;)

Fun and scary point and click. The difficulty was very easy and forgiving. BUT, since there are plenty of other games here on Kong that will induce hair ripping, I didn't mind the non challenge with this game. The creepy story and visuals along with the scripted ghoulish appearances made this game great. 5 stars!

Wow, very good atmosphere that makes it scarier and scarier. I merely chuckled at the skeleton in the bed, I was pretty scared by the telephone voice, and by the time I got to the furnace, I decided this definitely wasn't the best game to be playing at midnight in a new apartment full of new sounds. Judging by the other comments, that was a very wise decision.

Those eyes... I'll never play good horror games at night. Ever. Again. Yet I adored your game, the balance between easy enough to follow the storyline and enjoy the graphics and tough enough to be challenging. And the creepiest evil villains ever...

Who says 8-bit graphics are bad? 8-bit for the win. I really love 8-bit horror games, but they're so rare. This one was particularly creepy to me.

Once you go downstairs, it won't let you go back upstairs. It allows you to click on it, and even makes the noises like you are going up/down stairs, but then it brings you back to the desk with the note from yourself on it.

i hate the fact that this game is part of the scared stff quest.. i didn't finish it the first time i played this because i found it way too creepy/scary for my liking. but just for the quest i had to force myself to sit and play through this game. i'll give you a 5/5 for a great game, but horror games will never be my thing. oh kongregate.. i'm going to have nightmares tonight.. i guess it sure lived up to being part of 'scared stiff'

hm, nice game, but i got stuck in the end, readed the walkthrough and saw that i tried the result already two times. after all i like it :)

I liked it, but it was too dark to see some spots to even know to use an item there. This is the same problem I had with Myst. Creep factor was perfect though.
