Ironically, I was playing the song Wasting Time when i got the achievement for playing for 2 hours. Perhaps a sign? Anyways, great game, 5/5!

Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe 4 lets you remember how much fun rock music games can be and reminds us why we gamers play these kind of games, and how fun it is to rock out at home to our hearts content. Overall, this is a great and enjoyable game to play! :)

Suggestion: Instead to make a 1000-combo on the achievement(Which is almost the same as trying to perfect in I just wanna burn - pro mode), can you reduce it to 800-combo, or make it 1000 notes on one song?

For anyone who doesn't know how to find the 4th boss (not the brothers), here's how. Play the song with the purple skull and tail flying by it. After playing that one, the purple skull will be on a different song. Play that one. Now the purple skull will be on "I Just Wanna Burn." Try to play that, and a boss called the Dark Guitar Maniac will be there and will ask you to fight him. His ability is to make fake notes that disappear. Don't mind them, and you'll beat him easily. But of course, everyone will be ignorant again after 5 more comments.

Advice : mashing keys should be used moderately against the god of time. I finally managed to overkill him on Guitar Vs Piano without mashing other keys (except in the middle part). Since that song asks for a lot of stamina, the energy you save from not mashing other keys can be used to focus on the main song.

Sync problems are forever the bane of a game like this. Even on good ocmputer it lacks the enjoyment it should have because of sync problems.

@pophead Music most people like are popular, which are songs played by famous bands. Featuring these songs in the game would be super expensive, see as developers would have to pay royalties to all the people that are featured. This is why most of the songs are from people nobody has ever heard. The game is popular, so rather than having to be payed, bands are simply given publicity by being in the game. Also, it is nearly impossible for a developer to please everyone, and in order to maintain a wide demographic, stray away from catering to specific tastes. That's why you'll see that most rhythm games feature a variety of genres ranging from punk to reggae to alternative in their selection. And finally, this game is already super. I mean, SUPER IS IN THE TITLE!

Why did it take me eight years to realize that the multiplier color is based on the thing you are using to move?
1xGreen (IDLE): Grass. 2xRed: Legs (Your own "skin" color). 3x,4x,10x: Guitar you're standing on. 5xWhite: Void.

Great game Beats all the other ones. Love the boss battles. love the achievement system, love the guitars, love everything about this game the songs are great, i love the animations that the player is doing at the bottom of the screen, i always have the problem of trying not to watch him while i'm playing. Can't wait to see what you's have in stall for the future. :)

Screen it All: See every menu screen.
Skin of your teeth: Scrape a star award (after a song click on the star)
Premature Articulation: Hit lots of buttons before the start.
Analysis Paralysis: Just go idle while in the song menu.
Crack of Dawn: Play the game at 6AM
4"33": Press nothing for a whole song.
..Makes Perfect!: Play the same song 5 times in a row.
