I'm not sure what the "advancement" of this game is supposed to be. It's an overused concept and you don't add anything to it. Worth noting that there are numerous spacing errors.

God sakes to all of you haters, if you think this game fails first of all: Go make you own game like this if you think its so shit, which its not. Secondly if you think this game is shit, why the hell do you play it? Its the best game like this that I've played and Evony, Caesery and some other shit. Third: Its not for impaitent shits that have no life and sit at home all day playing computer.

I rate this game 9/10 because of the fight system and the permanent extra builder you recieve in the beginning. The only reason why I took off points is because of fact that is not completely finished. Also, the levels on the monsters outside of the city are too different. There are level ones and twos, and then it jumps straight to levels nine and ten. Then the drops are messed up, with barely anything on ones and twos, but a lot on 15s and above. Still, I give it a 9/10 for it's combination of strategy fighting and rts simulation.

Theres a glitch when that I battle... the first hit is always invalid and the second hits counts... so for example when my calvary kills a unit he switches the first hit doesn't do any damage.. I hope SnailGame fixes this. + This comment if you agree

this is in fact one of the worst mmo games I've ever played and i am embarrassed to be sucked in by a completely false description, some of the worst actual game play, the longest load times, and the absolute horror that is this game. if i could re do things, i would have never even given this game a chance! Snailgame, kong, i would suggest removing this game, even people who are first time game makers do better than this with single player games,

@itachi, The British weren't a dominant force to be reckoned with. They we're weak and never fully recovered from the demise of the Roman Empire until the 14th-15th century(excluding the unification that Charlemagne and the Capetian Dynasty). In fact, the Europeans copied many Islamic and Byzantine ideas and traditions during this time period.
And the vikings, though barbaric and brutal, wouldn't make any sense to add due to their location. They began in Scandinavia, and sailed to northern Europe and areas of Canada.

This game is a clone, do not be fooled. It is even a clone of a clone. Also, if you think you will finish this game in a few months, you're wrong, it doesn't end. It is conceived so that you waste your precious hard earned real life money on these kind of crap for years. It has additional features like Leirfos mentions, but is it basically the same thing as the other games. On top of that, if you join the game more than a few weeks after the server resets, you are already behind everyone and cannot win over these guys unless another of these guys help you out and you nibble at a few towns that big guy has while the one that helps you gets the rest. The kind of game you should not waste your precious MORTAL life (of 70 to 80 years on average) onto. You should watch a The Simpsons episode, you have a much better chance of being entertained with it, and it's free, all of them since they pass on TV!!!!

They should add a few more empires.....although the British was relatively weak from the dark plauge, they were still a froce to be reckoned. And, the Vikings were most definately a prominent player at that time.

im sorry i've played a lot of these civ games. This game is very diverse from all the others. All the other games you choose an avatar that has no modification to the game whatsoever, this one you choose a country, each country having its own bonuses and then you choose an avatar from that country. The age system is one ive only ever seen in p2p games like AoE. Frankly i enjoy this game a lot more than the rest even with the wait periods.

Apparently the only way to successfully play this game is to play the game most of the day. I have a job. I go 11 hours without playing, and therefore cannot compete with my neighbor cities. This is a big downfall for this game. I cannot rate it higher than 1 star.

BUG!!!: i garisoned 2 heroes yesterday with over a 1000 soldiers, when i come back today they dont have any units and there is no battle report!!!
