Well i really dont know how to do mission - "Defeat every enemy in first and second zone. In second zone, there is alweys that part, where you need travel by parachute and one archer levitating above the pit. How should i kill him and dont kill myself by falling into that pit. :)

Helmet changing and some way to spend your loot would be ncie. Like adding some sort of different bonuses. For example, 5% loot increase etc. Would be nice ^__^.

Since the autosave system is so unreliable, why don't you let us manually save? + this if you think that would improve the game greatly.

excellent game. I needed some time getting used to controls and gameplay but now it is double the fun. What I like is the difficulty. Dont make it easier. I like the challenge.

Mhh, I like the game by itself but without any progression whatsoever I feel like a big part and motivator is missing. You run, die, start over. Run die start over. Eventually you get better and run a bit further but there is something missing in between. If you want to motivate players you need to offer some type of progression/improvement/reward. Use the loot as some currency as of now loot seems worthless. Still decent but I felt something essential is missing to keep me interested for longer than a few minutes

I think when I first played this game, the mechanics were too harsh and so I turned away (or I royally sucked). Came back months later, and utterly destroyed the game with 100% completion. I don't know what to do now. This game has occupied me for over a week and now there aren't anymore achievements for me to get. That having been said: this is a fantastic game which is heavily skill based with a little luck thrown in. I loved learning the patterns I needed to do to get high combos, or how I had to play defensive to run farther. Very versatile, smooth mechanics. You get my rare 5/5 stamp of approval--which is not taken lightly. Any bugs, or annoying features earns a game 1/5 from me (most).

A restart feature is needed for getting loots. Example if i getting the dove loot which require not to kill any enemy in zone 1. If i accidently killed 1. i should be able to restart instantly, instead waiting to get killed
Well, this one is a bit random. You have to get a flower and reach the end of the level without encountering any Soulette (no matter if you give her the flower or not, you'll lose the flower).

It's very frustrating to loose double jumps by holding down the jumpkey. In addition to cevgars comment it's even worse. I found the entire game mechanics great. Especially cause you really have to enhance your skills instead of stupid upgraing here and upgrading there, but maybe you can do something about the double jump steering ;)

Like everyone else is saying, it could use a leveling system or upgrade system. Things such as making your character run faster, or perhaps an upgrade of the weapon? Certainly a fine work still. A save point is something else to take in mind.
I understand that everyone love upgrades. BUT : try to consider that all the game interest is about mastering your OWN skill. If we add upgrade, the game would just be non-sens. Please, also consider that checkpoint in a Survival game would be non-sens as well :)

I LOVE how tight the controls are for this game. It's great to have them be so responsive and precise. It feels so badass to somersault through a hail of arrows, throw a knife, and kill an enemy right before they attack, all before hitting the ground. 5/5 and favorited. Can't wait for the sequel!

This game is a lot better without upgrades. As he says in the description, the fun is in mastering the game mechanic rather than grinding for over-powered upgrades.

in rogue soul II I think that getting a new weapon should allow you to do something special: spear=has more range Claymore=rather than daggers there are shock waves, sword=rather than daggers you can block, Scimitar= rather than daggers you have a charge attack

Walkthrough: 1) Running forward while sliding kills anything with the right timing. 2) Never hesitate. 3) stay about 1/3 from the left of the screen, 2/3 from the right if you aren't doing anything such as avoiding death or killing enamies.

To game dev: "NOTICE THAT THIS GAME IS ABOUT MASTERING THE GAME MECHANIC BY YOURSELF. THAT’S WHY THERE ARE NO UPGRADES :)"
Now, I am a big fan of skill games, but I am also a big fan of upgrades. It's not because you have upgrades, that you can't have a challenging game. One doesn't stand in the way of the other, although often it seems like it. The key is to design your upgrades so that the player doesn't feel that he has become stronger because he got the upgrade, but he might just for example have a new skill to master. New skills make the game more fun :)

I don't know if you guys are still updating this game, but if you are, could you add a way to skip the tutorial? Kong seems to always delete my progress (which I don't mind too much), but every time I want to play I have to redo the tutorial. Thanks.

We can see the requirements for the distance and reward trophies, but not for the challenge medals. This would be really useful because I feel like I have the best route for Treasure Hunt planned out but am still just getting the gold medal. It would be nice to see how much more I need.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There, finally got 85%. Trophies and medals count as more than one item! You need to get at least a few platinums as well as most of the missions to get up to 85%. I had 40/44 missions, two gold trophies, one bronze medal, two gold medals and two platinum medals before ticking over to 85%.

A way to solve the "restart" problem would be if continues were awarded through a x(number) combo or higher, or from chests/gold helmets.

I really like how the developer listens to the fans and even changes certain things in the game based on their opinions. Great work SOULGAME.

I love this game. It's really well thought out, and progression as you get better and better is great. Developer is completely right, upgrades are unnecessary.
However, now that I've reached 100%, I'm unlikely to play very much anymore, for the simply reason that grinding the early levels just to try to get further in the later levels get's really, really boring. There is now 0 challenge for me in zones 1-4 but I have to play them endlessly just to get to the later stages. I think this is a big problem for replayability.
Suggestion: beating the campaign unlocks an "endless" mode where you can die and restart at the beginning of the same level an unlimited number of times. I think this would add a huge amount of replay value as people could concentrate on trying to beat the hard later stages without spending hours grinding the early levels and not having any fun.
You're right about that. However, I can't create an infinite number of different game sequences, so if you had infinite life you would just play again and again the same game sequences... It would be really boring :s

Please, do not give up! This game is great BECAUSE there are no upgrades. Presence of upgrades in this kind of game just means "Play it enough and you will win". This game is great because you actually have to be good to win. Playing it enough does not grant you to finish it.
Yes, people play "Burrito Bisont". Yes, people likes easy game to just waste time. But the great game in the genre is stil "Canabalt".

Hey! It took me an hour to even get to zone 5 and then I died as soon as I got there. Game over! -______________- what the hell
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like it but it needs a little work. The walking backwards is still too slow. I like the idea off the run through the city causing havoc but I think it needs a little more variaty and maybe something like upgrades. You know, buy more speed, penetrating daggers, extra double jumps, better armor, stuff like that other than that pretty fun.

Just got 100% and I've changed my opinion about my suggestions. In the sequel don't add a way to skip early levels but do add difficult opportunities to get loot in the early levels. They should be easy to survive but difficult to get 100% of the really good loot. That will keep even experienced players interested in the first sections.
