Yes, it does... especially if you are on a slow connection. The entire game is over 500mb. That's 500mb of pure awesome. Please make sure your computer and connection can handle all the awesome. If it can't, you're going to have a bad time.

Unbelievable game, great RPG as well. And just when it gets hard, you level up or upgrade a skill and start kicking butt again. Good times.

I haven't gotten too far in this game yet, but I can already tell this is going to be one of my most played games on Kong! LOVE the art style, hack-n-slash is like crack to me, and perhaps best of all, no in-your-face micro-purchasing! 5 out of 5! Bravo, devs! :D

ooooh and maybe some class specific shops or something would be cool too. Its kind of hard to coordinate my armor and abilities right now... unless i'm just not far enough in the game yet.
I guess the "open-ness" of the upgrading can be daunting at first, but that was part of the design process, to literally allow you to make whatever kind of character you want with whatever combination of skills/armor/masteries you'd like. You'll get the hang of it :)

amazing game one thing i'd like to see for two handed weapons would be a naginata, spear types weapons id possible. When i saw the claymore andmost of other the two handed weapons i was like all i need is a suit of medieval knight armor and i can go to Europe now, but its still an amazing game so kudos

One question though : Will there be other villages? (As in, the one you purchase items/upgrade skills/get missions at) Like, to further unlock areas? (Well, I don't know yet, since I'm only level 10-12) And does the Rare Item shop ever get new stuff?
Not sure if there's be other village hubs, but we have lots of extra levels and content planned. And yes, the rare shop does get updated. It got updated Friday actually :D

HAVING TROUBLE? HELPFUL TIPS for NEW PLAYERS –
1. Allys are very useful until Bloodfang Fort and there is no XP penalty for having a higher level ally than the recommend mission level.
2. Spirit animals DOUBLE the stat they are summoned for which makes some skills like ring of frost extremely effective at higher levels (hint: kiting shivering pines). Therefore Prowess, Defense, and Cunning animals are never a waste of karma. I haven’t tested the more expensive animals.
3. Don’t forget about the food vendor. Buying plum wine increases the drop rate of items which is best way to farm karma outside of speed runs of Jawbone Ravine & Shigemori River (because all monsters and crates drop the same amount of karma at ALL levels, although item drop levels and karma resale do values differ).
4. Medium Armor Mastery is the best armor mastery. Period.
5. If you don’t have an AOE ability, you will need a 2H weapon for Bloodroot Cemetery.

Okay you said for the update that you added a "ping value" the correct term is "latency" A ping is merely the request itself and not a value. Kinda picky but I'm a Comp Eng and it always bugs me when people say the wrong word.

great updates! :) the game has never looked better. I love the cool new map layout. It looks organized and it is easier to see background details on the map. Thanks for the great updates.

@Sogochaotycks & @chuagengleong pretty sure another charter slot and the crafting system will be in the next update, which is this week.

the game idea is not bad, but for the moment this game is not really stable... especially when u try to load a new map. Also a lot of bugs that interrupt the gameplay need to be fixed, before u can really start to get financial aids... Of course u need time for this, but u shold try to fix this asap, before the game lose his newcomer status

When you update the inventory, if you do, you should make can lock items which means they will ask you twice before selling and if you add a "sell all button" (which you should) locked items won't be sold (items you are wearing won't be sold aswell).
We've not yet added that feature into the game. Expect to see it added in a future update along with things like crafting. We have lots of cool updates planned!

The inventory should also have more room with crafting if we need to carry a few items we want upgraded, a few items its just not going to be enough room.

I read a lot of things about how Path of Exiles is supposed to be the best D3-like game. I played it for 5 minutes and logged off straight to Akaneiro. That's how good this game is.
If you're playing in browser, you know you can hold CTRL and scroll the mouse-wheel to zoom in and out. Also we have a standalone client that's available from www.angry-red.com You can change your resolution with that !!
Crafting is currently being finished off, ready for putting in. Once that's done, we should be free to start working on multi-player. Whooooo :)
As for an ETA, not really, any guess would purely be a guess at this point. But as I say, we're almost about to start working on it !!
Has nothing to do with quality settings. And... Everyone talking about load times... there's nothing we can do. The entire game is 500mb and that's downloaded in chunks of up to 50mb. If you can't stand the load times, then this might not be the game for you - high quality 3D in your browser has a cost. If you want, try the installer/client (www.angry-red.com) but remember this DOES NOT use your Kong account or link to the character you are playing here.

Protip:Learn Chi Mend. The ability to heal on energy alone in or out of combat is very powerful. And yes, you don't have to be the fortitude class to learn it.

The Karma:XP reward ratio is game-breakingly skewed. As is, I hit the level cap hours before I can scrape together enough karma to unlock the next area, and that's without buying new skills. I'd suggest adding karma bonuses to combos, as well as making loot more valuable when sold (increasing the purchase price in shops would be fine to compensate, since drops are better procurement methods anyway).
If it were "game-breakingly skewed" we'd see that very clearly in the data generated when people play. As it is, the vast majority of players are chewing through the content easily (and for free). If you want to progress through more quickly, then please consider purchasing some Karma. Not only will that address the "problem" you are having, but will help support us in our efforts to maintain and improve the game. Thanks!

This game is really, really great. At first it's a little depressing, that all the good items you find are 3 or 4 levels away from your level, but that's a minor drawback. And it's called randomness, which actually is pretty cool.
I have to say, the Nodachis are much stronger than all other weapons I have found so far, even stronger than items that are enchanted multiple times. One thing I really can't imagine is this having an active multiplayer, I think that wouldn't improve the game in any way.
Since Diablo III was dissappointing, this is my new diablo III ;)
