it's not that much a philosophical game, but it's a really nice adaptation of Orpheous and Eurydice's Myth. I had to get her ghost to realize this was the myth and that the final boss is Hades :I

Old Greek mythology, a man wanted his wife back from the dead. He traveled to the underworld, battled demons, and was told that he can have his wife back if her spirit can follow him back up, but he was never allowed to look behind him for his wifes spirit. In the end, he looked behind him, and he never retreived his wife. Sad story, great game.

I love the haunting atmosphere and music. Somehow after playing this game I feel sad and it makes me wanna treasure everything I have and be a good guy :)

for newbies, get a strategy for the bosses, for example first boss, walk in front, wait for him to jump, shoot his back, same for the 2nd attack,3rd...idk,just survive enough and you'll get trough.
2nd boss fall on the upper platform, jump and hit his head. continue. bats are your enemy with that strategy.

My thought when I found the gun : Seems a bit out of place.. My SOLE thought when I was fighting Hades: THANK GOD I HAVE THIS GUN

I don't say this lightly. In my 20 some odd years of playing videogames I have played a few thousand some odd games from all different types of platforms. Be it PC, Console, or Flash. This is one of the best games I have ever played. Quite difficult, and equally ingenious. Pure gameplay, no fancy graphics are needed here.

5/5 Loved the old school timing style of gaming, a few screens took alot of trial and error, but was fun in the process. Great story, really makes you think.

Feel free to call me wack . But this game itself is good but difficulty is just for people that dont feel pain or are veterans of hardcore gaming . I couldnt enjoy story here due to traps , enemies

Difficulty curve is a bit high, and there's a couple of scenarios that seem too dependent on not just good, but perfect, timing.

First thing I did when I got the gun? Went back to kill the snake I'd avoided and got killed because it didn't die in one xD

Good game, but the difficulty seems to ramp up really fast in some areas, and the restart can be jarring at times. Love the art style and flavor of the game though.

Oh man, I haven't played one of these philosophical games in a while, but this was great. The ending is pretty unexpected. Seems like it'd be a cool game to speedrun.

The bosses are perhaps a bit too difficult. (Philosophical games can't be appreciated as well if their difficulty scares away half the audience before they can see the whole story.) But the game is otherwise brilliant. 4/5

Regardless of the artsiness (which is really just a video-game retelling of a classic story), the game has some awesome level design. Terry's a master at designing a level around a simple concept.

Beautiful. I see this game strongly resembles Another World! It lets me feel the same gloomy, yet intriguing atmosphere of that old graphic adventure...
