I like the inclusion of the checkpoints, but I fell that the designer used them as a crutch/excuse to make the game arbitrarily difficult in spots. I don't consider that a positive. 3/5

FYI everyone there are Twenty Trinkets or secret objects available in the full game
5 available in the Demo:
Space Station level
1. 'Atmospheric Filtering Unit' fall down that small space to get to a secret room - 'It's a Secret to Nobody' and get this one.
2. 'Gantry and Dolly' proceed to 'Trench Warfare' and get this one then come back out.
Laboratory level
1. 'Double Slit Experiment' flip up in a small gap to get to 'Young Man, It's Worth the Challenge' and get this trinket.
2. 'Entanglement Generator' go to the top left pathway and keep going till you get to this trinket.
3. 'Standing Wave' flip up into the pit to 'The Bernoulli Principle' and then continue to 'The Tantalizing Trinket'. Get this one then out the way you came.
Oh and the music is flippin awesome

Great game concept, the speed makes it really sit on the boundary of too hard for me but the frequent checkpoints helped that. The difficulty seems to be quite balanced and appropriate. Hope to see the full version. 5/5.

@Simsler, Developers need money too, you don't think it's free to make games? Most great games cost money when they are made into full versions aka Demos. The demo is to preview a great or horrible game, and when the game gets released it wants to be treated as a full game. That's why it costs money, plus the full version of this game is amazing! 5/5.

Great and funny game. :D
But I rated it with 1/5, because this is absolutely the wrong way where flash-games and Kongregate should not go! Flash-games should stay free-for-all and open-source.
If companies see, that there is money to make with flash-games, they will start to develop more flash-games. And then upcoming programmers will not be able to rise their value in this community and show the world their skill.

This game is a real gem.
And that's why I'm spreading the word: http://www.mattandthebear.com/indie/25th-anniversary-review-vvvvvv

Controls are a bit sensitive (and makes trench jumps really hard) but even then, this game is amazing. the creativity and everything is truly amazing. 11/10

Jesus christ this game would make me kill myself if I had the full version. Timing the jumps in "Trench Warfare" is infuriating...and this is just in the first level.

The badge was totally not worth the effort. The physics engine is good, but the game is just aggravating. The novelty wears off quickly and it just becomes a chore. And thank god for the mute function. 2/5

They want 150 kregs for the full game?? Thats 15$!! Even big PC-Games are cheaper. I recently bought "Splinter Cell Caos Theory". I payed about half the price!

So I saw that I had to earn 150 kreds in order to get the whole game. So I go play other games and earn 150 points expecting the points to be 150 kreds, but no. It is stupid that you have a point system for this website and you can't use the points that you earned to get the entire game. What is the point of earning the points. You need to make this game available to those who earned it by getting points from other games.

Fun little game. Not sure if it's worth dropping 15 bucks for though, that seems kinda pricey when you can pick up a new xbox 360 60+ hour game like oblivion for $20

paying for a flash game? Really? these are supposed to side projects, not full-time. Flash games full time=having to pay for them. Sorry, if you want to make money, make good games first, then sell things like t-shirts or a USB Flash drive with a don of games on there. (Jonathan Coulton does that.)

In the first level, there should totally be a checkpoint in the "sorrow" area. I've died in this stupid go-down-then-up thing about a hundred times.

Loved the game :) Had been on my list to purchase for a while. The demo definitely pushed me over the edge, going to buy now.

Alright music, gets a bit too annoying after a while. Some of the levels are soooo hard because you bounce way to fast. 3/5

VVVVVV is a very fun, yet challenging game. And the great music adds to the experience. I'll be thinking about purchasing the full version. Keep up the great work! (5/5)

I'm not against developpers posting demos on kongregate but i dont think kong should ask kreds for buying games. It's supposed to be a FREE flash game website and not an online shop. If you want to sell our game just post a link but don't sell on kongregate please...
