It took a minute to get into this game, but after that, I enjoyed it a lot. The music is reminiscent of the Guardian Legend, which is awesome!

I bought the full version of this game off steam in a $5 package over christmas. Amazing game, obscenely difficult, incredible music, and overall just excellent. It's normally, and well worth, $5. 5 stars for Terry Cavanagh, great game.

FYI everyone there are Twenty Trinkets or secret objects available in the full game
5 available in the Demo:
Space Station level
1. 'Atmospheric Filtering Unit' fall down that small space to get to a secret room - 'It's a Secret to Nobody' and get this one.
2. 'Gantry and Dolly' proceed to 'Trench Warfare' and get this one then come back out.
Laboratory level
1. 'Double Slit Experiment' flip up in a small gap to get to 'Young Man, It's Worth the Challenge' and get this trinket.
2. 'Entanglement Generator' go to the top left pathway and keep going till you get to this trinket.
3. 'Standing Wave' flip up into the pit to 'The Bernoulli Principle' and then continue to 'The Tantalizing Trinket'. Get this one then out the way you came.
Oh and the music is flippin awesome

Now, until August 9th 2011 you can *pay whatever you want* for the full version of VVVVVV on the "Humble Indie Bundle":http://www.humblebundle.com website. You could even pay just $0.01 for the game. Just remember it takes a lot of work to make a game, so if you want Terry Cavanagh to keep making great games like this, be generous. It comes with 4 other indie games including Crayon Physics Deluxe and they all are supported natively on Win, Mac, and Linux, and are DRM free, and also come with a steam code for the games.

Xyru, there are people out there (like me) that enjoy a good challenge. We don't play games to see the win screen 9001 times. We play to get satisfaction out of the one victory we have. Plus, your argument is already invalid because *lots* of people have bought it. I plan to buy it soon, once I get enough Kreds. But until then, I'll settle with the demo. Good day.

The full version is epic. Buy it I tell you! Even though it's really hard, the gimmick/gravity flipping and the whole feel of the game is just amazing.

Really great portion of the full game for the demo. Enough to have a lot of fun with while still leaving you wanting more, and not enough to make you rage quit 10/10, just for the demo.

Good lord. This guy is the man who made "Don't Look Back" (Which is a great game by the way.) Honestly, he's an amazing developer, and there's absolutely no reason for this to have three stars.

Honestly, I would say this game is one of the best I have seen in quite some time. Sure, it may be just a demo, but it IS a creative way to design a 2D platformer. VVVVVV is definitely a favorite of mine. Thanks for making such an awesome and inspiring game, Terry.
