On a side note. I am the best city planner ever! Everything is based around the tavern! Where you can wallow in your misery and drink away your depression. Right next to the tavern is the casino! Because drunkards should always gamble! But just in case that losing all your money while drunk isn't quite depressing enoguh, just one door down is the undertakers, just to rub it in as to why you might be drinking in the first place. Conveniently placed across the street is the gun store, which has a prime location, sandwiched between the school and the jewellery store!
Of course the logical path is to go from the funeral home to the tavern, to the casino, to the funeral home, to the gun store, the jewlery store, and finally, the school!

I give up... I can't find the holy grail. No wonder Kind Arthur had a problem with it. It's pretty much impossible for me to run out of money, I make it faster than I can spend it. I make over 75000 a day, which is what I spend on nukes (Not counting ore... I only sell my ore when that special thing pops up). My map is one large city, and I'm almost certain that all of the shops and public services cover every square. Now, while I have no problem nuking my city... I'm fairly certain I've blown up every square... maybe ive just missed it?

2500 people badge should be hard, because it takes way too long for your typical medium and it's not very enjoyable either. I gave the game 3/5 just because it has some potential, I like the art style, that cute truck, the idea - it's all nice, I still spent the time to play it, but in reality it lacks any depth and becomes a mind-numbing chore very quickly.

I'd love to see a sequel to this game with improvements to explosives and vehicle. I kept expecting to see an area affect from the larger munitions, particularly the plastique and nukes. And an improved ore magnet, and/or a 'cherry picker' crane on the vehicle would improve ore collection/lessen frustration over 'lost' ores. Great game regardless. 5/5 :)

When able to, just use bombs in the collection zones. You'll get less great stuff but if you use big bombs you can more than make up for it with 20+ tons per round.

"Hey Ma, I hear that out west they are using thermal nuclear weapons on trees to mine for gold nuggets the size of large buildings which then fly about willy nilly. Pack up the kids so we can live in a tent and get in on that action" - Some Random Gold Rush Hill Billy.

I just nuked a circus.
They must have been smuglers. I bet the Genies Lamp and the 4 Diamonds were hidden in the elephant. But i was clever, got them! Muhahahaha

a tour of the town. over there is the tavern to get drunk at and over there is the church you go to the very next day, oh and over there is the mayor of the town placing more nukes into the ground. the only explanation he gave me as to why he does this is. "umm err I accidently buried my favorite crack pipe somewhere and I'm just trying to find it".

My truck wont move too in my first try. I then simply restarted the game and it worked well. Dont know what it is, but restarting the game seems to help. For the game, its really addicting first, but once you max out all the upgrades it gets a little boring. 4/5

Once you get a lot of income, you can just buy dozens of population and growth buildings, making it much easier to get population. I ended with getting about 100 people per day just by placing town halls and churches.

dinamite and explosives that blow LARGE holes in the face of the Earth, and leave perfectly cutted gems and preserved magic relics... still havnt found the holy grail, maybe the nuke turned it into holy ashes. great game btw, 5/5.

A few quick tips: Boom town badge requires getting to 2,500 population within 75 days, so make the most of each day. Boost refinery quickly to get more gold. You can load the truck up as you run out of time without returning to the load zone and still get all the gold in it. Try to remember the hot spots, and bomb the shizz out of them, lots of gold. Trees can be removed with any bombs! Hope this helps!

"Dude, I just got out of fuel. Mind if I collect the rest tomorrow?" "That's ridiculous! Leave the gold there! IT'S LOST NOW!!!"

Driving through houses is ok but can't drive through trees part? I'm darn sure it's one of them truck drivers union regulations thing >.<

I don't want to be the stupid, rude troll comment. But I mean... how is this fun? I just don't understand how this is supposed to be entertaining... and for me, that's saying a lot. Getting this easy badge was just a lot of boredom, and waiting through this overly drawn out game

Could use a lot of tweaking - possibly most importantly, why is the town part of the mining screen at all, let alone something you can incidentally blow up if there's gold under it? I'm glad it's not a physical obstacle but it's not the greatest idea.

Now, where's the gold deposit on this plot I just shelled out $2000 for?
Oh, there it is -- right in the middle of a grove of trees. How convenient that the surveyor's office didn't mention that as I was forking over all my money.
