This was a really cool game, with great gameplay, whimsical story, and a twist near the end that completely changed the feel of the game.
I also like the "reward" that you get for 100%. I think more game designers should be doing things like that.
All in all, great job.

I'm very unhappy that the game still crashes upon loading, but still hopeful that the creator will figure out the flaw. You have me blessings, coding warrior.....fight hard and strong.

for everyone pissed off about losing all your stats every day: you actually GAIN sleep level every day, which lets you stay up longer each day, plus you KEEP your learning level, which lets you level up a lot faster (learning is dependant on the codex completion). speaking about that, can anyone tell me what #49 is? its the last thing before i have 100%

Guys, you don't have to beat the shadow in your dreams to win. In fact, I didn't even know there was an alternate ending until I read the comments. Hint: SPOILER!!!! ALERT CAUTION DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU its in the sacred area. y'know, the place you have to pay 100 gemmies to get to. ALRIGHT YOU CAN LOOK NAO. Anyways, you guys don't think it'll have a sequel after it said, "To Be Continued"? Although it would t end up having sequel.

This in dire need of a sequel. As if it's not enough that the gameplay is addictive and calls to that part of us all that loves random levelling/collecting, the storyline is acctually extremely interesting. I really was not expecting the ending, a very serious and dark twist to an otherwise lighthearted game. It merits repeating: This game NEEDS a sequel!

Damn this game, and damn the creator who had made it. Every damn night, I lose to that shadowy bastard and lose everything. All I wanted was just the stupid frickin dash ability, but every damn time I get at least HALF way through the course it gets too late. Due to dying by the excessively narrow corridors and stupid spiker in the room with the cross pattern of gems. There, my rage filled rant is complete.

After the first few dreams, I thought it would take longer to beat than it actually did.

I was about to finish the game, went into a dream sequence, I was about to kill it and I ran into one meteor and then I failed when I had 3 hearts left.

chillicolin, when it says "to be continued" it usually means there's gonna be a sequel... so WHY are you asking for a sequel, when the only people who ask for them, are USUALLY people who finish the game... this is deliberate taking advantage of people who have not finished the game, but they love it.

I ended up really liking the game. I didn't like how I was slipping into enemies and felt like I didn't have very much control over my character, but once everything levels up, it didn't really bother me that much. The end reward was gratifying, well worth getting 100% for.

Excellent game. The ending story was good. Not too hard, not too easy, and I like how all of your levels were reset after every day. One of the few games where I couldn't find a single flaw. 5/5

By the way, for those that can't find the last six gems, stand at the bottom-right part of the triangle at the top of the tower next to the squarian village, dash to the right and double jump. You should reach a platform with the last gems. To get the last codex entry (not counted), talk to the brainy squarian three times.
