Liked it - Good design, and I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I kept getting frustrated at the "ZOMG IMPOSSIBLE BOSS", which, is super hard. (But guys, you have to keep trying!). I think this takes platforming and a nice little joke about "leveling up" and squeezes them nicely together, and I see no bugs or anything of that sort. Great job, and nicely done. 5/5

Okay, so I got the boss's HP to 0, it started regaining HP, I died, and got stuck on a black screen. I had already gotten to 100%, but wanted to save the secret ending for after beating the boss because I somehow got 110% of the postboxes. Now I'm forced to reset. >.< Could someone at least tell me what the secret ending is, so I don't have to go through all that again?

I got the boss to zero too, and then he started gaining health from the gems I collect. Weird. And then the game goes dead with a black screen. I guess this is one of those minor bugs that the dev won't bother fixing. Great game, but I've got to give it 1/5 stars for bugs.

WOW guys, you suck, clearly killing the "boss", isn't how you beat the game try the rest of the areas!

Hmm, I'm at 94,5% so I seem to have missed an area. And yes, you cannot win against the nightmare boss, AFAIK. But you can finish the game :-)

BrotherOni it's annoying but you do not need to beat the shadow to beat the game. On Kongregate at least you don't need to beat it for 100% either.

i dont get it, i beat the boss on newgrounds easy, but this boss gains health when i collect gems. what am i doing wrong?

yup i had the same problem with getting the boss to 0 and then having health keep going up until the screen went black

It's bugged you all. On newgrounds you CAN kill the nightmare. It's just bugged here. I know because I have done it before. Stolen maybe?

NOTE you cant kill the nightmare. After his health is gone it just goes the other way. Have to level up all stats then talk to the giant pc

Wow hey guys, stop complaining about getting your ass handed to you in the boss battle. It's a game mechanic. Besides, you don't lose much. You don't even lose "Learning" levels, or gems!

Why do I just lose all of my lvls at the end of the day after the boss kills me? Am i expected to beat it? Does the game get any better? I just have to keep starting from square 1.

I love this game. The demo for the sequel looks cool, too. It feels like a mix of Upgrade Complete and Inquisitive Dave, which is nice.
