For those of you who do not know, there is a sequel in progress. It is working under the title "Gather Up". The creator says so on Newgrounds I think
I fist found this on Newgrounds. I wish they'd kept the "heartbreaker" achievement. Something that definitely deserves an "impossible".

a good way to own the shadow, is when he activates the comets, toy around for a couple seconds, then run to one of the platforms, and DASH RIGHT INTO THAT WALL LIKE A BOSS, by doing so you stunyourself without getting hurt and he stands there, and you'll be standing there invincible while he gets hit by falling boulders :)

beating the nightmare is unnecessary,i suck and couldn't beat it, but the compute only requires you too level up a lot, so just get double jump ang go about daaily routine, it takes about 20 upgrades to get it to work.

O.K....I couldn't play this for years after paying first time because that game would crash my computer every time I tried, tried playing it on my Dad's semi-new laptop, It finally works :D but need my dad's permission to get on :(

there's a bug: when you want to see codex close to the computer, the game awfully crashes and you so need to restart fully game, if not saved.

Why can't i start from where i left off before i switched off my computer. Now i have to start the all over again. Annoying!

DANG! I was hoping completing the game 100% before activating flashback would result in a 100% recovery instead of a mere 98%... in need of a sequel if you are up for it!

Good trick for fighting the boss: If you are having trouble dodging his attacks or getting him to hit himself, dash into a wall. You won't take damage but you will be stunned and temporarily invulnerable as though you had. This will allow you to heal or get the boss to chase you into the boulders safely.

This was a really cool game, with great gameplay, whimsical story, and a twist near the end that completely changed the feel of the game.
I also like the "reward" that you get for 100%. I think more game designers should be doing things like that.
All in all, great job.

I'm very unhappy that the game still crashes upon loading, but still hopeful that the creator will figure out the flaw. You have me blessings, coding warrior.....fight hard and strong.

for everyone pissed off about losing all your stats every day: you actually GAIN sleep level every day, which lets you stay up longer each day, plus you KEEP your learning level, which lets you level up a lot faster (learning is dependant on the codex completion). speaking about that, can anyone tell me what #49 is? its the last thing before i have 100%

Guys, you don't have to beat the shadow in your dreams to win. In fact, I didn't even know there was an alternate ending until I read the comments. Hint: SPOILER!!!! ALERT CAUTION DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU its in the sacred area. y'know, the place you have to pay 100 gemmies to get to. ALRIGHT YOU CAN LOOK NAO. Anyways, you guys don't think it'll have a sequel after it said, "To Be Continued"? Although it would t end up having sequel.
