I imagine every time the car stops the guy pushes it back to the start then pays himself for the upgrades using his imaginary money.
Now that I think about it what if this guy is just delusional.

@Byrne: You don't need to do it in 3 days, you get the Hatchback badge if you ever reach 1000+ feet, no limit in days.

For the hard badge, if you get to day 3 with a really good setup (maxed everything except gun) go to the menu and restart if you don't clear the creates with boost going up that last hill.

Damn developers... you got to have some story towards the fact who is selling us these items and the bloody cars, seriously, can we just steal the car and items and just fly off to the helicopter..

no saben hacer retos, hace falta mucha cautela para lograr 1000 pies o sea, lograr romper todas las cajas. Por los pelos, hagan bien sus cálculos. No me gusta sus tonterÃas, yo no pienso repetir las veces que sea por un maldito número que no aporta nada.

Barely made it to 1000 ft. with the hatchback! i.e. learned the fine art of boosting over the third slope and CRASHING through the stacks of crates!

I want one of those binoculars he has. They can zoom in to look at distances more than 3000 feet. That would help me discover the mystery behind my brother staying in school until 7 p.m.

Here's what I did. (follow very carefully)
Day 1: Buy 37"mt. wheel, 4wd sport, 120hp V6 Engine, and use the rest of the money on gasoline. For the driving phase, keep your tires as parallel to the ground as possible, but right before you hit any zombie tap the left arrow (or a) to lean back then go back to have tires parallel, this does take some memorization.
Day 2: Buy the max amount of fuel, then buy the good old rifle, and buy 4,500 worth of ammo. (if you don't have enough for that restart)
Do the same thing with driving as before, but you won't have to deal with the first few enemies.
Day 3: Buy the propeller and get 10,000 worth of fuel. (again if you don't have the money, restart) Driving, drive the same as before but this time right when you reach the slight decline part of the third large ramp, boost with all your might and lean slightly back, you should clip a few boxes, but still get 1,000 feet.

Not sure if the developer nerfed the physics or if the people posting videos on youtube hacked the game, but after 2 hours of trying for the hard badge I've concluded that one way or the other, I'm not playing the same game they were. + if you think the hard badge is impossible.
