Of course, you are trying to escape zombies and save humanity, and some jerk wants to make money off of parts instead of helping humans live....

Strategy for Hard Badge:
Buying:
1st day: Fully upgrade engine, transmission and wheels, pull all the rest in fuel.
2nd day: Fully upgrade fuel, buy boost and weapon, and split the rest of your money between boost fuel and ammo.
3rd day: Buy 9 out of 10 lines of boost fuel (the 10th is very expensive) and spend the rest of your money in ammo.
Driving tips:
1. Don't accelerate when your wheels aren't touching the ground.
2. When jumping, land with both your front and back wheels touching the ground at the same time.
3. Use very tiny boosts before jumps later in the stage.
4. Use the majority of your boost fuel for jumping as you reach the top of the slope before the crates.
If you follow the above, at the first day you will drive more than 770 ft, at the second day you will go through some of the crates, and at the third day you will fly over the zombies before the crates and go through the crates easily. Remember, flying over zombies is much better that driving through them.

How to get the Hatchback Hijinks Badge:
1st day buy all the gas accept the last 2 then upgrade you wheels, engine, and the transmission all the way up. Now when you are driving try to make the front of your car go up in the air so you don't hit the zombies dead on(that slows you down a lot). Also when you're going down a hill don't use your gas. Only use it when you go up a hill (size of the hill doesn't matter). Day 2 buy the fan and then upgrade it as high as you can. Then you do the driving techniques. Day 3 finish upgrading you fan and then buy the gun and upgrade that as high as you can. Last run, keep driving like I told you to. This may take a couple of tries but it works. + this to help fellow kong members.

For the Hard Challenge: (Day 1) Buy the best weels, the best engine and the best transmissioner. Spend the rest on Fuel. So you should drive about 730ft. (Day 2) Fully upgrade fuel, buy the boost and spend the rest of your money on it. Use it to fly over the zombies or/and to climb the final hills. You should reach about 900ft. (Day 3) Fully upgrade your boost, buy the riffle and ammo. During your final drive just concentrade on reaching the hills. DO NOT USE THE BOOST. When you're driving up the last hill, spend all your boost to fly over the boxes.

Why does he need to pay for the cars and upgrades if he's in the middle of a desert wasteland during a zombie apocalypse where no one else but him is around?

Please make a earn to die 2! Or atleast add a couple of more levels and more vehicles and upgrades! This is a great game and there should be more like this! + so the creators of this great game can see this!!!

So your business model is to wait for a zombie apocolypse, then when people break down in the wilderness while trying to escape you're going to tow them back to town to sell them upgrades for their car?
I'm out.

I am wondering... Why does he have to buy this stuff? There is nobody around to sell him that, but it's there. "It's too easy to just go. I have to get some money and give to the imaginary shop owner."

Wooo! Finally got the hard badge. I found tilting back and hitting them with the underside doesn't slow you as much as ramming them. Still took me several tries to get the bounces right, and had a couple 997 and 992 ft runs. Just keep trying, and you'll get it.

For the 3rd achievement, I was following the guides but still couldn't manage to boost far enough. I finally figured out that if you just boost without tilting on the 3rd hill, all you do is pull a wheelie and don't go far enough. What you need to do is tilt forward to allow your car to build some momentum before tilting backwards or no tilt to let it fly over the crates.

guys, if you're going for the hard badge, you are on the third day with everything but the gun maxed out, and you know you're not going to make it, hit ESC, then hit restart. it'll reset you ON THE THIRD DAY. Also, you want to use the boost at the last uphill so you can launch yourself over the boxes
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you boost off the cliff after smashing through the first set of boxes, your car will smash into the ground and the car won't move.

How come if I stop, at all, the day ends? I've still got half a tank, I just don't want to waste my gas holding forward while the zombie dies.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Using up the gun at the start of the level sucks. Also, I keep getting boxes stuck in my wheels, sticking to the tires and bogging me down significantly. Is there something specific you can do to earn stunt points? I've seen the same thing happen and sometimes I get a bonus sometimes I do not. Decent game though, the premise is fun.

this is another repost of Dec. 09, 2011 Badge Guide: Day 1 - Max out Trans+Engine+Tires and spend the rest on fuel. Hold down the Only take your foot off the accelerator if you're going to be off the ground for more than about half a second. Try and keep your wheels parallel to the ground. You should get around 730 ft. Day 2 - Max out fuel, get the autogun and as much ammunition as you can afford. Do the same as before. When you reach the final hill, it's broken into three slopes. You should be able to get part way up the third. If not, restart and try again. Day 3 - Put everything into Boost. Do the same as the previous day, and when you hit the the third slope of the hill, hold boost and fly over the barrels. Don't bother voting up, just repost. Credit for this goes to razzfallow, this is how I got the hard badge.

The "stopped" detector really needs to be less aggressive. I was 3/4 through the story mode, hit a hill and bounced backward and my day ended. I still had nearly 1/2 tank of gas left. Had the day end not triggered I would have finished the map easily.
