Bah, I keep getting multiple repeated equations with no other data making it impossible to solve the system. 4/5 -> 1/5.

The interface on this game is very clunky. (The answer blank would vanish on me randomly and not allow me to enter an answer.) And there doesn't seem to be any motivation to "play" as a game since there doesn't seem to be any goal or tracking of how well you've done overall. I tutor young children in math and have been looking for something they might enjoy doing for practice, but this won't hold their attention.

I seem to occasionally get clues with multiple possible answers that work, and are positive, and whole numbers. I imagine this is a bug, since only one set of solutions can work.

great game! this actually reminds me that if you would like to tutor someone who needs help in algebra or anything math/science/language related to sign up to tutor, or if you need help in your area you can request a tutor: http://www.wyzant.com#ref=1RBBJT

Yeah those would work... Sorry Feith. The way the game is done it just generates the variables at the beginning and then prints rules based on them. I'm guessing variable "a" was wrong. Because due to the way the rules are generated, in the rule "b=l+1" it would be "b=l+a." In other words all the rules substitute a variable in the place of a number if it can, with no exceptions... I think.

A little note: I my problem: kg=170;15+h=m;10+l=c;15+d=f;b=12a;117=nj;e=a+i;10+d=k;15+e=m;30+j=f;ng=65;15+i=c;b=l+1;i+a=h, my solution came out to be... a:1;b:12;c:21;d:24;e:7;f:39;g:5;h:7;i:6;j:9;k:34;l:11;m:22;n: 13 yet the program claimed most of my answers were wrong, even though if you plugged them back in, it would work correctly..

somewhat enjoyable because im in precalcus now and this seems easy, but generally i (and alot of other people) play these games to get away from math, so this game has a major flaw....

Some bugs. I got one where g=3f and g=3f twice, and no other equations used g or f so it was impossible to determin their values...

well...there is a little bug ;)
i have 6 variables....2 are obvious and the other one i have to gues. for example the only 2 equations containing b and d are b=d and d=b ...
its the same with e and a. f is given and the equations are e=f+a ... nothing else

Great little game. Sparse, yet addicting to try and remember the different tricks that can help one solve a math problem. Thank you. I had forgotten how much fun it can be to solve simple problems like these, and it definitely keeps the brain limber!
