This is kinda a REALLY irritating game to try to "play." Play in quotes because the word insinuates you're having fun while using it.

Just not that interesting with the problem of they tried to create a hybrid game that just didn't work on either level.

Game fail for no mute before the annoying music. Game fail for bad controls. Game fail for bad tutorial. Game fail for being not even worth the time to get BOTD
Shoot the developer so he doesn't try making another.

I went ahead and beat it. Not worth it. In addition to the complaints about the "tutorial" and the uselessness of the archers and Holy Spirit, you can beat any level the easy, time-consuming way. There are two mechanisms for victory - kill everything, or wait out the timer (5-10 minutes depending on the level)
In the harder levels, such as the aforementioned orc boss, hire a repairman and kill everything in the first wave EXCEPT one archer. You can do this on all levels with just the catapult if it's upgraded to level 4 (and your wall is 3 or 4) and you keep the repairman running. Alternatively, you can be careful sending out troops to keep the last guy alive. An enemy archer damages your wall more slowly than you can repair it, and when the timer runs out, "Reinforcements" arrive and chase off the remaining waves, boss and all.
Rife with typos and grammatical errors in addition to being an imbalanced and slow/repetitive game. 2/5

I just finished the whole game to finally read the instructions and see that the tanks turn into towers... oops, oh well, I never really used the trap aspect of the game anyway. 4/5

This...was disappointing. The controls are awkward, the tutorial isn't all that helpful, and the overall gameplay just isn't exciting. I don't have much else to say, seeing as how I had no interest in continuing after I got my badge of the day.

I was going to beat this game, I though "This is pretty easy" but than the Orc Captain, the next to last boss, just threw all my men to the side like sticks. So, no. Ok game though. :)

"I want blood, humans. Are you ready to die?" Uh...no sir, I'm not ready to die. Maybe you can go look at some of those goblins i killed earlier? They have blood all over the ground. No? Still going to fight me....ok then...SEND THE TROOPS

Started playing, thought "yeah, this game isn't too bad." Then I encountered the first of those dark elf units that just rush across the map (literally too fast to track w/ the catapult, not to mention take 3 or 4 level 2 catapult hits and also do a ton of damage) and thought "hmm, that could be problematic." Then I got to the last level of dark elves, and I decided that this game is complete garbage. 1/5.

If someone wants to use a mute button, they probably don't want to have to gloss over the tutorial, go to the first level, turn the volume off, then actually do the tutorial.
Why is it that flash games don't always have the settings available from the main menu? That isn't acceptable in any other kind of video game.

It'd be nice to fight earlier battles to build up before moving on. It's lame that you can't. Or if you can, it's lame that it doesn't tell you how.

could of dealt with working around the utter lack of a strategy to this game if i could send less than ALL my troops. apparently the little number choice under the units is just a decoration as it makes no difference, theyre all sent no matter what

Some good work went into this, but I haven't even finished the tutorial and I'm already getting restless with how slow the soldiers are and, as I see others have said, the clunkiness of the interface. It looks pretty neat but I'm skipping it, even though I'll miss the badge. (There's always another badge...)

@FaustTheSad: For what Faust DIDN'T say, is that you can keep Wave 1 alive for each battle until the very end, allowing you to not have to fight the later harder waves in each stage.

@keitho2314: While viewing your city, click the Setting button near the upper-right part of the game screen, and then you can turn the sound setting off by repeatedly clicking the minus sign.

Nice graphics, easy to understand UI. Clunky commands, mouse control over the catapult is difficult. I quit after getting the badge.
It should be allowed to stop the music.

build an army of a single engineer, let live one single archer enemy, and let the time pass. keep this comment alive!

Oh, and the tank decides to start moving on its own. Not to mention the inability to summon spells during the eternity the troops take to get in.

First boss, goblin boss, is severely overpowered for not being able to buy more than three soldiers if you messed up and bought the market first. That, combined with the fact that you cant undo any purchases, the lack of a way to exit from mid game without refreshing the entire page, makes this a very poorly executed game.

Developer, a good skeleton for a fun future game, however, that is about it right now. Sorry to say, this game does not deserve badges yet, especially after an over all rating of 3.84! Perhaps after a lot of stated issues are dealt with. To be fair, I will give you 3/5 (room for improvement). -Marz

Why is it only possible to buy ressources for points at the market? Why is it not possible to sell/trade ressources not needed? I am drowning in crystals and have no use for them.

@deku_link: Far from it, I don't doubt. It wouldn't be so bad if the programmers would either:
A) Lower the idiotically high gold requirements that make it impossible to get the Palace, Mine, AND Barracks before you first go to battle.
OR
B) Raise the player's starting amount of gold.
Though since it hasn't been updated in forever, I doubt either'll happen.
