Under rating threshold (show) Great game, superior compared to the other versions of Protector. Really good job. However, I did notice some bugs in the game and several spelling errors, mostly in quests. There were several mistakes with the creatures which should be flying. Instead they were normal, walking creatures and not flying as described. Small issues but noticable. Anyway, 4/5.

Under rating threshold (show) well... great game i admit. the story, upgrade system, the heroes,... everything is very good. except for i think the level design is a bit poor... c'mon add some buildings or whatever rather than just setting up some fences with hay behind to fill a map...

Under rating threshold (show) Just compleated the game last night- however the 3 handed combo won it for me- 3 gloves with +4 leadership and +4 ranged (on my bow/crossbow hero) just pumped out crazy dammage- just spend all the XP on wisdom and you kill lots and upgread quickly!!

Under rating threshold (show) is there somewhere you can see a break down of what units do what? The paladin in the older games used to ignore resistances, does he still? things like that.

Under rating threshold (show) Buying the Investor talent off a scroll gives a +5 gold per completed quest talent. That means you need to do 400(FOUR HUNDRED) quests just to recoup the initial investment in the talent scroll! O.o

Under rating threshold (show) All ive got to say is absolutely terrific job. I love the way you can choose factions and such, along with your specialty from the questions in the beginning. great music, fun and addictive gameplay, interesting aspects, and, above all, fun to blow a week on. 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) Almost too complex to be enjoyable. My biggest annoyance is that there's no way to restart a level. I accidentally misread the weakness in a scouting report and brought the wrong Hero, but there was no way to go back and restart without "Failure" and all of my opportunities changed after that. Just too much to deal with.

Under rating threshold (show) ok thats bullcrap...i got a reaver the 3rd upgrade in the center path...and it said he cant lvl up anymore after that...i had 6 upgrades unable to get thats bullcrap...it shuld make u need a LOT more xp and gold to lvl him up more so that units can get all possible upgrades

Under rating threshold (show) Me too Ascander, originally I had intended to do the same for this.. But it became obvious having a coloured sprite for each unit in each element would require so much art, time and file space it just wasn't possible. Let alone the restrictions of flash. Even with 46 variations things were getting slow to work with. If I'd elementalized them all in the way Protector III does I'd be looking at 230 individual sprites, about a 9mb filesize and a very high cost just to have coloured clothes on the units... If you then imagine having 4 levels so that they visually improve on level up... 920 sprites. Obviously I had to come up with another solution.

Under rating threshold (show) i miss the element colored tunic, not digging the "glow", that's for the visual part, the rest is really nice. And about gameplay, well there are some units that are the same like council trainee and kingdome mages (same ability tree) and it would be nice a place to see what does each ability and what unit have wich ability.

Under rating threshold (show) Best of the series so far, due to the RPG elements and the unlinking of element and special ability. Things that could be fixed are duplications in skill scrolls and protectomons, and lack of visual notification for player and hero level-ups, other than comparing sets of numbers. For my taste, too much equipment to sort through.

Under rating threshold (show) This is a good addition to the Protector series, just sad there's still the same problem that melee units are useless. Maybe if the high cost melee units could hit flying creeps, or have an upgrade to hit them, I would have some use for melee!! Heck their swords look long enough to reach :D

Under rating threshold (show) A more in-depth Protectopedia would be nice, like the ones in earlier versions of Protector. That way, you can see what each unit type can do, and not have to figure it out by trial.

Under rating threshold (show) Got the storyline hard badge with 3 days of off and on playing, ended up with 75/100 talents at the end. My tips: Save some paving cost reduction items for the later levels and put a lot of points in your heroes' Tactics skill to level units quickly. Use ranged units only, except for the Paladin on some mostly melee levels where he can rack up kills and use the lower skill tree to buff his attacks according to percentage of kills. The elemental switch items can be good midgame when you need ranged units of a certain type. Last level: use Cold Archwizards and build up their teleport skill, it even warps bosses. 5/5 very addicting and unique gameplay.
