For anyone having issues with the final level, here's how I won: Setup: Mage: basic & energy, Warrior: maxed out for tacticians (and fire/energy), General: max lives/cost. Game: I filled up the entire two rows with mages first (no upgrading!). Then, I filled up as much of the upper side as possible with unupgraded warriors. Once the energy teams started, I upgraded as many mages to the 50g upgrade as possible (inflictor won't help). Once they were upgraded, I upgraded both island areas to consecrated energy (since poison will be coming soon). After that, I found the highest-EXP units and made them consecrated fire and focused the last part on making as many powerful tacticians as possible. Remember: Especially at the start, there is power in numbers (and if you don't upgrade them, they won't cause any absorption (although there's no absorption for energy, which is why I focused on it)).

Got maybe 10 battles beaten, and then... it just seems too hard. None of the next maps seem to be quite possible with the several approaches I've tried. Sadly, giving up. Cool game other than that.

anyone else noticed that when a warrior attacks facing south east, he holds the sword with his left hand and strikes with his right hand?

Real nice game. The fact that you don't grind your way through the lvl but have to figure the bed tactic is a real plus. 5/5

All I can do is echo the positive comments here. Here has to be one of my favorite standout, go to games when I get tired of playing all the other games. More than a classic, it sets a standard for tower/defense games.

Best game ever. Only one I keep coming back to over and over, even better than later versions. Just can't figure how to get the highest scores.

for some reason some of my level one warriors have begun doing like 200-300 damage in one hit.... whats going off here?

first 10 levels were easy and then i got stuck for the next few. levels 12-21 were easy. then i got stuck on the last -.-

People, if your going to comment on how bad a game is then don't just say it sucks, say what you don't like about it so the developer can see your feedback and make adjustments accordingly.

Definitely one of the better games on Kong. I love the way you did the experience so that they don't have to kill the monster to level up. 5 out of 5 for the win.

my question is, does armour come in before or after the increase from type or debuff? would be a helpful thing to know, especially for path to shoreveiw.

It's strange but I wasn't awarded the medium badge until after I beat the game and went back to play that level again. Still, that's not the game's fault so 5/5!

Wow.... 5 tries to beat a 5th level... Such a huge jump in difficulty after the first Med. But once you figure out the pattern you're set.

Easy way to beat the first hard level, the Not so Vast Forest, is just to invest all of your skill points into extra lives (it's okay, you can change it later) so instead of having 1 life you can have 9.
