This game has potential: Great potential.
If experience could be saved and mages used on other maps that would be cool. This would keep players coming back to the game.
The skill selection needs colourful icons with 3 word descriptions: The lengthy text should be optional for RPG feel.
The concept of this game is great, but needs to be updated to maintain playing power vs its competition

Tips: Most levels can be beaten by building 1-2 Specialist energy mages, 1-2 Specialist cold mages, and then massing Generalist fire mages. Fire mages are the most cost-efficient damage dealers with the least amount of units immune to them. Higher level damage upgrades are generally not cost-efficient, so I recommend only going up to level 2 fire mages. For marathons or fire-immune units, you can just make ice mages in a separate area to catch whatever the fire mages can't finish off. For the Hard 10-wave rat-only level, I recommend Generalist dexers/warriors, and for the Hard 10-wave air-only level, Specialist archers worked for me. The advanced units are generally good only if you've got too much money to spend and too few spaces to fill.

This game really stinks nobody wants to replay a map 10 times just to figure out what freakin tactic you gotta use - if it wasnt for the best of medal I wouldn't touch this crap seriously

Are you want win this game. You should use skill's to Energy Mage. Because Energy mage is so powerful for other mages. And you should buy Archer skill.

I realize its an old game, but the difficulty gets ridiculous very quickly, and as has been pointed out, there's some very basic features left out that could make a big difference.

What makes a player not want to play a game? When you spend 30 minutes playing a level and get to the second to last level and die to way overpowered mobs that the only way you could of prepared for them was if you had already played this map...

I like tower defence games, especially when they're set in this historic genre,
but I believe it could be better, I agree with FEARdebater, it does need to have a speed up button, but its a challenge and i like that, 4 stars.

Ok, the game was pretty slow, finished the first level, started on the second level. At wave 5 the game started slowing more and at wave 14 flash crashed... Don't think I'm going to try it again.

@bartje456, use the "report missing achievement" function. You can even get the badge of the day bonus back if you submit on time.

I love the "Time Wasted" stat on the map menu, fantastic :D
Very nice game, nice music, but, as everyone here said, it would be much more appreciated with a FF button.
