controls a little unwieldy, lost count of the number of times I ran into a level 5 monster right off the bat unintentionally because he just wouldnt stop moving...but overall cool game

Yes this game may be short, but it's a good job done. You don't have control of the battle which sucks, but overall it's very solid. 5/5

Regardless of how much the 'ripped off earrings' comments are getting downrated, it's true. Google Maplestory gold earrings' and you get the same picture as one of the sets, slightly changed in color. From such a good developer, and as a former fan of Maplestory, this is disappointing.

If your going to use both turns and minutes please list both in the description, every round i was jipped out of like 3 minutes everytime

My big suggestion is: Make it solely what you can accomplish in five minutes. The turns plus the time limit are unnecessary and the turn limit to be honest is just frustrating. You spend too much time searching for things that by the time you are ready to fight you can't find the main boss! Stick to just a time limit :). Fun otherwise.

Lots of potential, but as others said, it could use a few improvements:
1. Fix the bugs! Namely...no green dragon, the warhammer/pike names, the "undefined" pumpkin, and the wonky tile in top right corner. Also, another bug that I found--sometimes the game doesn't register a completed quest. I had to find the prince's portrait, and though I definitely found the right portrait (I checked against the portraits in the trophy room), it didn't register as completed.
2. PLEASE put maps or radar in! When trying to rack up completed quests, it ruins the fun to be reduced to wandering aimlessly around and hoping you stumble across the object of your quest.
3. Upgrades would be fun! :)
Can't think of any other criticisms. Animation's tight, gameplay is straightforward, and I'm fond of the achievement trophy room. Not a new idea, but it's done particularly well here. I like seeing what object the achievements translate into. If you work on the above items, you'll have a top-notch little game.

This is a really great game concept (and game in general). I would REALLY love to see this become it's own standalone fully-functioning RPG in the future. Perhaps??? ;-)

Don't mean to sound nit-picky, but the war-hammer and the pike need their names switched around. It would seem that people still don't know how to fix the flash "sticky" keys thing. So sad...

This is the worst game , No offense but you need actual insturctions and it maybe needs to say, Um i dont know HOW TO FREAKING PLAY!!! Worst game ever I hate it its as if a 10 year old made it (No offense im sorry but it doesnt even have Proper instuctions)

Seriously though, this game is just fundamentally broken. When I'm level 5 and have a level 7 sword and shield, a level 5 ghost shouldn't take more than one potion from me. Hell, it shouldn't even get the upper hand on me.

Wanted to give this a 4 (it's very fun), but the sticky commands, where I press one direction and it holds the command the character goes nuts and runs in that direction while I'm trying to go another until I hit that direction again to unstick it....really ruins it for me. If the game was a click-per-move, not hold-to-run this might not happen. As for now, the "wanderlust" my hero gets and runs into lvl 5 monsters at lvl 2 is too much to make me want to play this for long.

How about instead of a radar system, some of the items you collect will give you some direction towards the quest target? Like the maps you collect would briefly display an arrow either left/right or up/down to point you in the right direction? That way it wouldn't give it completely away (too easy) but would help, since now it's pretty random.

This reminds me of Adventures in Infinite Space which is good as thats a very good game lol
I was expecting that each time i restarted the game something would carry over like exp and lv and that each time i played someone would be added like harder monsters and higher level items.

This is a fun little game. I've been playing it for a little bit today and I've got 64 of the 85 achievements. I really like the map movement on this better than the Arkandian games. I'd like to see something like this (or maybe Chrystal Story's movement) incorporated into the next chapter of Arkandian. It just seems to be faster moving.

I really agree with the freeplay idea, upgrade/reward for achievements and maybe some kind of list containing each achievement so i know what to go for.

Slowly realized that due to sprite orientation, every death by wolf, rat, etc. has been by the legendary buttocks ram technique.

Wouldn't it be cool to have the "time limit" only for one quest, and if you finished it a new one would appear and for this you have another new time limit. So you can play until you die.

Being able to check the map, even just the area you've already covered (and the quest objective if you've seen it) would be a great help. Could do without the 'rescue teh princess', I nearly didn't play the game.

For what reason do you want to fight the random monsters everywhere? It even takes less turns to pass around them. There should be a bonus instead, like +10 turns for killing a lvl 1 monster, +30 turns for killing a lvl 3 monster and so on.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
should be a picture showing you what the quest objective is. the "find the portrait" ones are quite difficult because there are so many different ones.
some kind of a bonus for getting achievements, like meet this achievement and start with level 4 weapon, etc... would be nice
quick and easy game though, iron out the small details and it could be amazing :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
needs more turns or a leisure mode, plus an image of what we are supposed to be questing after would be nice I can never find the end creature I'm supposed to kill. 3/5 as I'm feeling generous
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@asymmetricalmind: just hard to find. One of each in the whole map, I suppose you were unlucky by not finding them before.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is an excellent concept that is stifled by incomplete execution. At the least it needs a preview of exactly what it is you're looking for and a minimap (With a "fog of war" removal feature) to let you know which parts of the map you've covered. The hero needs to be able to retain his weapons as well. As it stands, some quests consist of wandering around aimlessly until you blunder into something that kills you.

... after playing through and getting many achievements i suddenly started finding a lvl 7 sword and shield... was it unlocked? is this an update? or were they just that hard to find?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game has unlimited potential. Right now it has no sense of self drive. Add upgrades or allow the character to retain his weapons and levels and you will get your 5/5.
