Great game - reminds me of playing on the old Windows 3.1 back in the day... Upgrades + music make this infinitely more epic.

How do you use the other buildings?! I tried pressing the numbers on my keyboard, or clicking on the button on the screen, it doesn't seem to do anything.

Do you have to earn the platinum medals for the impossible badge in one game, or over the course of games that you've played? If it's supposed to be all in one, then OH MY GOSH that IS freaking impossible!

It would be cool if when your main base gets destroyed ,the game let you watch your other buildings be destructed. or even give a chance to the flak save the day.

bad dude one: dear god man, you just won the lottery 64 times! what will you do with your winnings? BADASS: IDK but I have an idea... ( Awesome intro into the game)

Enemy: Oh, where did all of these missiles come from? Oh well, let's shoot them at these 5 buildings that appeared! (30 seconds later) Oh! More missiles! They just keep coming! (30 more seconds later) OOH! These ones have upgrades! That'll destroy these buildings!

This game, as epic as it may be, it's definite nightmare fuel. Once the song gets ever more epic (beyond the impossible) and your hear the tortured screams of men, women and children dying, that you got too far on a game that was based on an algorythm with every path leading to failure, because it's the only option. We must've all had nightmares with this. Who agrees?

excellent game, i truly enjoyed it from the start, i mean who wouldnt? its difficult yet addicting to play and the music is one of the best tracks ive listened to from a flash game, keep up the good work, and you should think about selling at least the music if its patented under you

@Ainlay
Upgrade Siphon to lvl2 and Flak to lvl1 and keep that flak shooting
Upgrade your Missile Reload to lvl 1
Upgrade Flak and Siphon to 3, keep that flak shooting
Upgrade your Missile Reload to lvl3
Upgrade EMP straight to lvl3, and time slow to whatever you can afford
By now you will be receiving hits, so dont forget your shield reload speed.
Keep shooting the Flakcannon, and reloading its shield with Siphon as often as you can
Fire off your EMP when your flak is offline or when your're starting to feel overwhelmed.
This will buy you time, which Siphoncity needs to reload its batteries to supply your flak with power.
Finaly, when Flak and Siphon-city start receiving critical hits, and EMP is not giving enough time for Siphon to reload. Its time to abandon your cities and focus on your own survival.

If I had a never-ending supply of missiles and my town was attacked, I'd shoot the missiles at the enemy, not at his ammunition.

Lol I've earned everything but the platinum "disabled" medal
Earn a platinum "disabled" medal – You must disable at least 400 missiles [Best so far: 4]
Sounds kinda impossible to me since I've used the EMP alotta times... anone experiencing the same?

Earn a platinum "resources" medal – You must have at least 10,000 resources (Note: You do not need to earn all 4 platinums in a single game.) [Best so far: 4]
...what?

My score was 17617, but that achievement system shows:
Earn a gold or platinum "endurance" medal – At least 3,000 missiles must enter the screen (though they don't necessarily need to be destroyed)
[Best so far: 4]

Tips from an experienced Missile Command player:
1. The best way to get far is to concentrate defenses on a single area. In Missile Command you had separate missile launchers and cities, but the same principle applies in this game.
2. Ignore anything which not pose an immediate threat. In the long run the extra resources from destroying those missiles doesn't make up for the possible losses.
3. Shoot the enemies who produce more shots as quickly as possible. Don't let an enemy in a parachute or the green insect stay above you! For they will only continue to cause trouble.
4. Don't worry about upgrading anything except your main tower. You'll have a hard time getting 10,000 resources anyway, and investing in other buildings is just a waste.
5. DO upgrade your main tower. So long as it is standing you can still kill enemies, which leads to a longer survival time.
Hopefully this is helpful. Rate it whichever way you want.

The high score table isn't useless, the high score stat is just fine and is a number. The reload rate is fine and so is the upgrade cost, I almost always have a surplus at the end of the game.

This is just... too good. Wonderful art, epic music, and game play that is both easy to learn and difficult to master. This has to be the best missile command game ever made. This game is at a state games should strive for.
