What they don't tell you in the intro is he had to go home to get the shotgun and was stopped by a cop who asked what was wrong... the young teenage football player then uppercut the cop stole his car drove home to get his dad's shotgun *the cop's shotgun sitting in the passenger seat mind you* grabbed his dad's shotgun from his father's drunken clutches hopped back into the police car and then sped of to the caves... I think this story could have inspired Rambo himself :P 5/5

Nice game, could use a bit more ammo at the beginning of each level though. If you use up all your ammo on level 2, you get ripped apart on level 3 and since there is no way to reset your save back to an earlier level you have to restart the entire game.

Is anyone else getting a glitch where its just a grey screen with a toolbar display at the top that reads: (coins) 999 | (heart) No display | (Red and black flashing gun) No display | (shotgun shells) 999 | (DDR dance pad?lolz) No display?

sry didnt mean to say about save function but with replaying levels i forgot i hadnt gotten the shirt for the level until i finished and then i cant replay without restarting whole game so only 3/5

Excellent game with a great difficulty curve. Which is why the end boss was extremely disappointing. After collecting all the coins, I just stood there and blasted with my shotgun. He kept trying to block me with smite but couldn't smite as fast as I could shoot. Result: easy win.

What's the use of perception if the map is always right next to the beginning of the level? great game otherwise though.

Impossible badge: Get the achievement for beating the game without killing anything. I've spent about an hour on the third or fourth level, and I'm not making any progress.

I like this game because it actually takes a considerable amount of skill, and forethought, by the player, you can't just run around and win.

I'm finding a problem with when I finish a level. My whole browser seems to freeze up for a few seconds until the next screen loads. Is that because I'm using Google Chrome? Or is it the game's fault? On a side note, very fun game and 5/5

Awesome game. Old school, 8-bit feel. Great controls. I love that the upgrade and achievement systems motivate you to explore the dungeons in their entirety. Not many think of those little features. Well thought out.

this game would definately need a few badges. nothing more than medium though but still, one or two might give a nice touch.

I really liked it, the only frustrating part is that I kept missing the slugs unless I got so close I'd take damage. =/

Oh my bad, i take back my comment about the upgrade screen, i was mousing over them, use the arrow keys instead (hey mattex, how about reading? try it this time). the one about the loudness still stands tho.

A few things before actually playing. A way to turn the music down/off without the sound also going off. In the upgrade screen, tell us what each upgrade DOES; "increase shotgun damage" or "increases speed" just isnt gonna help.
Controls, no wasd + mouse aim? not a complaint just a question; most games that allow shooting are that way, any reason why you chose arrow keys?

Sorry lady i dont like the scary caves with monsters and i dont want spend much money in a shotgun, better wait to the next cheerleader, more cheap.
