There is a hidden poem at the end if you use a scroll wheel to scroll down past "You've reached the end of this puzzling journey. Looking forward to travelling with you again! Regards, Wanderlands."
The poem is "And everywhere I wandered, the world never ceased to astound. --Wanderer"

I finished it and wanted to play it again but I can't return to the earlier levels, the "+-"-thing don't work for me...

I really have to say nicely done. This is even better then Continuity and Lightbot as well as several other big name puzzle games on my point of view because while the other games can sometimes rely on artwork, Impasse has an more abstract sense and when combined with the smooth gameplay, it really brings the best of the gaming experiences out.

Couldn't solve the last one in my head. So used paint and kept cutting and pasting the important pieces, solving the puzzle by going backwards :).

Finally a puzzle game that deserves 5 stars.
+ points:- simple concept, simple graphics, real challenge.
- points:- this game is bad for your health, I now have a splitting headache.

Great game. Great pace of difficulty. Thought it got pretty hard in the 10's, but it was mainly because I just experimented my way through. I had to realize that I had to see several moves ahead and not just rely on my intuition to see obvious solutions like many other easier puzzle games. Once I got used to identifying paths it got a lot easier and a lot more fun. I also loved the way it slowly introduced you to new concepts. I want to give it 4/5, but I can't really say what the game is missing. It's a little short, but it would probably be too hard or too tedious if it was longer. I just didn't end up with the same feeling of joy I usually get from games I give 5/5. Since I can't point out anything I didn't like, and many things I liked, I'm gonna make an exception and assume that it's my own rating philosophy that needs to be changed. So have a 5/5. You earned it.

Oh yes... Those later levels get *really heavy* on backtracking just to make one little piece slot together. Not a casual pursuit...

I love brain games as much as the next guy, but DAMN there's some doozies in this one for sure. Glad to say I got all of them without any help. But I think I bruised my brain!...lol Good game I have to say and very ingenious and original. I can give this game a 5/5. After I rest my brain for ohhh I don't know lets say at least 8 years, I wouldn't mind playing a sequel to this.

Could use a level select after the game is done, just for those who like to help out friends. ;) I liked the game overall. Really well done. Smooth and simple, with all the needed challenge. 5/5

If you scroll down the final screen, it says:
I wandered everywhere,
through cities and countries around.
And everywhere I wandered,
the world never ceased to astound.
Wanderer

This is actually one of those rare games which actually deserve a five star rating. I was put off at the beginning simply because it looks so simplistic, especially with the art - which can be argued that there isn't any. It is a simple idea which is executed perfectly and it has that quality which makes me want to come back to it every time until I solve a particularly difficult level. I absolutely love how you have to keep on thinking really hard on this and take into account multiple things which function differently. I don't know about you, but I like this game a damn lot. :P

For those people wanting to redo a level they've already completed, or go back to the lvls they skipped, hit space then - (minus) until you get to the level you want by counting the dots at the bottom. If you skipped lvls and then go back and do them all the lvls you've done will be counted for the Hard badge, you just can't have any undone lvls between. Good game!

Wow, this game is really challenging! It seems to be very easy in the beggining, but as time passes, you know what is really true. Very cool! :D 5/5

Wonderful game, the "style" is simple, but actually this is damn hard and good brain-puzzle =) But I don't think the difficulty followed up, I mean there were really hard levels, and then there were also pretty easy levels later on (and the last one was pretty easy also compared to some of the earlier ones). But 5/5 absoloutley! When I finished the last level, it really gives the feeling like "Oh, I truely deserve it" you know =)

@Solfus: Why would you want a Menu with a Save option? The game auto-saves, and saving your progress every three steps would just make you more frustrated.

It'd be nice if arrow circles would be identified appropriately if they were under a minus circle. They glow when they're on top of a black circle, but else they become invisible when under a minus circle.

It's rare a game give you a sense of true achievement.. this is one of the few. The last level gave me a hard time but all you have to do is take a step back and look at it from afar and you will see the path.

Wow. Pure genius. I've never had to think in a direction such as this. How can I even begin to explain such a game to anyone? No need to explain when I force them play it and experience the game themselves.
