More ally planes, level editor, multiplayer, local multiplayer, custom plane editor, and environmental hazards would be nice.

A welcome treat for the tactical minds, but ultimately it's all about the patience of outmaneuvering your opponents and tailing 'em to death. The lack of diversity and real deepness prevents it from entering my favorites. 4/5.

Whenever your plane gets knocked out, and the other plane gets knocked out at the same time, you are sorta stuck and you can't win or lose

A great game. I would really like to see this were as you get more stars and gain ranks you unlock new plane/weapons and can try and find your own strategy to the levels. But this was meant to be a more accurate game so all good. also I had that same problem once were I was not paying attention to the edge and could no longer turn my planes cause the targetter went off the screen. Keep up the good work.

Hey! I'm supposed to earn tons of stars if I "barely survive". Because it was a hard war, nearly impossible to win, but THANKS to me, we won!

Great Game. A suggestion: It'll be even cooler if you could watch a replay of your dogfights in real time.
Badge problems for me for now though.

I wonder how RAF defeated Luftwaffe until 1950 using an airplane from 1907. :P Anyway, a pro-tip that will make missions much easier: each enemy has a fixed target (and will only change target when 1st one is dead). Identify which of your planes are targets and use them to attract enemies to a position where you can flank with other planes and take them down.

@thundernova308: Well, when you fly in a plane and look out the window at the ground from high up, everything DOES look pretty bland. It's only when you get close to the ground and can distinguish between different objects and see the flowers that things begin to look pretty.

1) The AI is very bad at predicting your movements. Moving in a straight line or a sharp turn always seems to trip them up. 2) The AI does not understand the dangers of the gas. Don't be afraid to drop it in an "obvious" place; the AI will ignore it and dive right where they were planning to go anyway. 3) There are 60 total stars to earn, so don't be afraid to take a 1 star mission. Personally, I found 1946 to be much harder then the next few levels.

@book w orm: You cannot turn right at the moment because your right rudder has been jammed. Same things go with the enemies. Please do not rate this game low just because you don't get hang of the things there.

Oh, no! Our enemies are using gas to poison our citizens, how horrible of them! Oh, look! We're using gas to thwart our hated foe, how ingenious of us!

why press arrow keys to center? use arrow keys to move and space to center would be better. and make the centering more smooth, which the camera moves to your plane but not teleports.

Be really great if there was something telling you what directions things fire when you first encounter them. I mean I can kind of guestimate my own fire rate but I can't always figure the range of Blimps and balloons.

An awsome feature would be if you could see the battle in real time after completing the level. All those moves would look awsome to watch.

i would like to see a solution to the fact that if you reach almost the end of the map...you can't stop your plane from going off map

A good strategy/tactics game, although considering the 2-dimensional field and the slow pace (with as much time as one wants in between each few seconds of battle) it might have made more sense to make it ships instead of planes. Also, I agree with other comments that upgrades would be nice. Even if you don't get to upgrade the plane yourself, still it would be good to upgrade from one war to the next: biplanes to Spitfires to jet planes, with maybe something like X-wing fighters for the last battle.

You should be able to watch a replay of what you did, then without the pause for turn-taking, it'd be a really cool scene to watch.
