99 bricks left to stack, 99 bricks, place one brick, hope it don't fall, 98 bricks left to stack.....
79......
68......
54 bricks left to stack, 54 bricks, place one brick, hope it don't... Oh what the !@#$, time to start from 99 again.....

I don't understand how the game is capable of picking the worst block possible in 0.1 seconds before the next block drop, but it can do it I KNOW IT

I woke up to get me a physics pack.. and then I thought this game was easy. I said 'Oh, lord, Jesus, it's hard.' Then I built, I grabbed my badge and I just RAAAN OUT! Didn't grab no hard badge or impossible, jesus! I just RAN out! And then I saw the comments; I've got bronchitis. Ain't nobody got time fo' that!

You can use the lines in the background to be more accurate. Don't hold down. Take your time, think about the next brick, pause the game if needed.

Heh. In reply to Real_Awesum's advice, take a look at my demo screenshot at this link: http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=z68m8mdss1vb7bu&thumb=4 It's a poor example of how the impossible badge is meant to be gotten, as I didn't care enough to order the bricks properly or anchor the side L bricks before adding more, making the tower tilt a bit, but nonetheless, shows the much easier way to get the impossible badge. Wider base = less height = less sway = much easier. Notice the tower is only at 150 height, and 60 blocks (I discarded two while taking the screenshot), and the tower's sides aren't filled yet. But once they are, there would be around 50 blocks left, and really, double that, and 300 height of 99 bricks really isn't so hard to get, with the right placements. That's how I got this impossible badge more than a year ago. Gotta think outside the box, people. Enjoy!

The physics are horrid (unless there is wind which there should not be): i tried building a tower vertically only out of 1x4 blocks but it still swayed... the same with 2x2 blocks... The game is nice but you should correct the physics!

Regardless of how you build the tower, after 300 tall it begins to shake itself apart by accumulating the vibrations of every piece getting placed. This is something that should be fixed, and is the primary reason the hard/impossible badge are pure luck.

I earned my 2nd impossible badge ever!! ow yeah!!
This one wasn't all that difficult, just make sure you make your tower as wide as possible. Try to make at least 3 rows of blocks hang over the ledge at both sides. A wide tower means it will have less height and thats good because a high tower shakes too much to place bricks properly. And if one of your bricks is starting to fall over and you have only 10-15 bricks left rush the remaining blocks and hope you will get all 99 bricks in screen before the falling block hits the botton of the screen. I was a tad lucky but this is how i got my impossible badge. I hope this helps and good luck building your 99-brick tower.

Is anybody else finding the hard badge more difficult than the impossible one? I've got 99 Problems but can't get Dubai! :(

Ahh finally, a good set of bricks... (2 mins later)... Here I come hard and impossible badges mwahahahaa... (2 mins later)... Perfectly sound build so far :) 381 height, interlocked wherever possible... (0.01 secs later) Height 90... What the actual F*ck?!?!?!?

You know what really grinds my gears? When my tower wobbles and misaligns every single piece so that it's literally impossible to place the next piece flush against the others.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Actually the Dubai badge is the hardest. The tower becomes more unstable the higher it gets. It's easier to build a solid 99 brick tower than a wobbly 600 high earthquake simulator.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!! i could feel my blood rushing, adrenaline pumping when it was last 10 blocks and it just become nightmare... So coincidentally last 10th block wasn't suitable for any place,so i just hold down and one of the block was pretty close to the 'hell' Funny thing is i got impossible badge before hard...Btw Real AwEsUm's tip is quite good. I studied tassel's walkthrough too. Good luk on Impossible badge. I had tried this for few times from years to years cus i gotta feeling this badge can be earn due my passion for tetris :)

I play seriously and i get a height of 400 (tower gets destroyed) and then rage... i just push down and let the blocks fall on top of each other, i look at the height and it's 500 WTF?? ¬¬

If I wasn't so tenacious about wanting badges, I'd have quit this game a long while ago. I want to love this game, I really do. The concept is brilliant, and it keeps MAKING me want to come back, despite the flaws... but the flaws are just getting harder to overlook. I understand the principle of interlocking, and I add the extra width by hanging over the edge at the beginning, but even THEN... on the FIRST BRICKS you can sometimes see that the brick decides, for some unknown reason, to sliiiightly tilt to the left or right when placed. If I stick another block on top it'll adjust back to where it should.... but for pete's sake -- why is my tower already tilting when I only have ONE block? That's not my incompetence (which I already have enough of, thanks)... that's just wonky physics.

the actual center of gravity on each individual piece says it should stay where I put it, the gravity of the game... disagrees.

Idea: Maybe I get the impossible badge if I just keep dropping the blocks on the center part as quickly as possible... *five minutes later* Idea: Maybe I get the impossipble badge if I carefully place the blocks in a logical manner... *fifty minutes later* Idea: Maybe I get the impossible badge if I just break every block before they go down... *five hundred minutes later* Idea: I think I should get some sleep now and continue later...
