Aug 10th's map was really hard for me. Thanks guy who suggested using drones, because it really helped.
Drone bomb the huge divot in the bottom right -- it really takes the pressure off of the blasters holding back the flow to the base. (Map won screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/cng6FkQ.png)

To all new players: You can move your base if needed (it is advisable, mostly) you are aiming to shut off some emitters (enemy) and activate the green totems to escape/win. Start by pausing and(moving to high spot/safe spot) building 2 emitters. wait untill they are built and pause again. Now you need to build some emitters while keeping energy positive. neg energy slows you down. In general you will need to build a web of emitters and start to build some reactors slowly, build a storage if you like. When energy production is good (or creeper gets too close) build some blasters and one mortar. (this really depends on the situation, but im saying generally). Now you have a stable platform to grow from, more blasters may be needed or SAM for ariel attack and prob some reactors. pause can be used to avoid panic and catch breath. Good luck learning the rest and having fun. :)

played a map for 50 minutes, watching netflix in another tab, accidentally pressed reload page, FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUU***************************

try drones. few upgrade points if possible, collectors, some blasters and drones. I was thinking today map is impossible... I still think it is impossible without moving my base at the begining.

I have learned that I'm very bad at this game. Or atleast I don't know what does what. blasters keep running out of ammo

I guess this game is not meant for me, no matter how i try, i never have enough energy to fight against the creepers. If i build guns early, i dont have energy. If i build them later, creepers are too near and such i, yet again, have no more energy to fight against. I dunno how you're supposed to clear these stages :/

58.00 min, my results are like an encephalogram xD 14 drones and they didn't seem enough :D my gained/used energy bars are one on the other xD

LOL. Who's saying there isn't a mute button for music and sound?...LOWER RIGHT, DUH...It's been there on every new game.

Agree with other posters, Aug-10 is a rare, challenging map. 6:37 my first beat -- will save screenshots for later (mini spoilers) since this is such a good map.

try to bottleneck the creepers focus on building only a few things at a time.
Dont try to expand too quickly. unless your trying to get to a more defendable area. if a unit is no longer useful in an area you can move them.
drones are your friends when trying to expand into enemy territory

One feature I'd like is the ability to continue to watch after you win to see your base slowly lose power and succumb to the creeper

My best advice is to set up your base as quickly as possible, then build several (I usually build 5) drone bases. They help so much in controlling the battlefield.

I have probably played every single map for the last few months, and the game does have a steep learning curve. Crash course for the people that don't understand it: 1 & 5 generate energy, 1 is pretty cheap but cannot be placed to close to each other or they lose effect. 5 is expensive but can be packed close together. 2 is useful for crossing large gaps, 3 gives you a bigger reserve for energy for short bursts of building / refuelling. 4 makes all your packets go faster, they can be built anywhere. 6 is useful for pushing back creeps and when placed close to a spawn can control it single handedly. 7 is useful against deep pools of creeps or against targets that are higher up, 8 is only useful against flying creeps, 9 is useful when the creeps are spawning in a pool and is on of the best power/effect towers.

TIP: move odin city onto high ground, and the creeper will accumulate in deep pools around the base so you can use just 3 or 4 mortars and not be in danger. then just build a crap ton of reactors and speed packet things then build lots of drones and extend to the becon things

Developer, I am sorry, your game is very hard to understand, directions are confusing, looks interesting, gave it a good shot. -Marz

(has several turrets surrounding all of the creep generators so no more can spawn) Ok, so I still need to get Odin to safety even though the area is secure?

If you're struggling, try Creeper World Training Sim (by the same developer). Some maps on here can be tough if you're not entirely sure what you're doing.

Advisor "Sir:We can hold out for a long time in but, Odin city needs 25 reactors to power our defenses. How will we afford to pay the power bill?"
Commander: "Shit, Start the city engines, let's get away"

I wish I could understand this game so I could enjoy it like these other people do. I just can't. Alas another badge I won't attain. And yes I did the tutorial but it was already set up with collectors. I tried to set up collectors like that and there wasn't energy output to set up blasters and energize them before the creeper over took me. SIGH

Glad to finally see this game get badges ... I've played it so much that I got the badges as soon as I came back today and sorry that I dont get to play it again for the badges. Oh well, guess I just have to play it again for the fun of it :D
