Cover the entire map with mortars and blasters, then realise you're 20 seconds short of an hour and get flooded before you can put the last two relays in. Derrrrp.

people.... look at the credits... and read all the functions Sir Virgil Wall occupied in the creation of the game. All. Seriously. Prepare your roflocopter for takeoff. I warned you. Your sides will leave Earth at terminal velocity. Press + so others can see.

A glitch where when you a producing over 40 energy and have about 30 energy being used, with a bank of at least 100 energy you will start gaining defeciet no matter what you build and your energy will not be depleted or completely fill. =/

This game reminds me of my days killing mold in New York that was left over from Hurricane Sandy. The creeper is the mold, and the played is the cleaner, and the battle is the process of spraying the wood with thyme, sanding it, respraying it, and wiping it down. And tada! It's mold free enough to rebuild ^^

I fought survival, and almost won. I'd fought the creepers and cornered them to 1/4 of the battlefield, and gaining ground slowly. After two hours they finally managed to break through in one area and wipe out my entire supply lines. But it got a bit weird towards the end.
In the end, I was collecting 50 energy, using only 40 energy (all on blasters), I had a 140 energy in storage, but for some reason I STILL had a 90 energy deficit. For some reason, no matter what I did, even though I collected much more energy than I spent, I couldn't get rid of that deficit

does anybody know how to figure out when you could use more Speed Modules or when you have enough? and why the Depletion amount spikes an extra 0.5 sometimes?

I don't think I've ever completed a map without ending in deficit energy. I try, but when I build reactors/ more energy gathherers, my energy consumption just goes up with my production. I guess having more energy just tells my guns to shoot faster...

I'm going across, inch by inch, finally have the advantaged over my enemies... then theres this survival crap that kicks in after an hour...
WAAAAAAAAAHHHHH

@ricknash You're in luck, then. Creeper World 3 is due in a month or two, and it goes back to the top-view look of Creeper World 1, but with plenty new things. You can even still destroy Emitters. More information, including beta videos, can be found at http://knucklecracker.com/blog/

Challenging? There maps? I don't know man, I played latest two of them and won without any restart... Original CW (full version) was far harder.

These maps are challenging. For those having trouble, I suggest the creeper world simulator (tutorial) game first.
This is my all time favorite game. I like creeper world 2 as well, but I really wish knuckle cracker would update the original creeper design with some new dynamics.

Love evermore. Just wish I could turn of "survival" mode to mess around. I always thought it would be nice, too, if you could prioritize builds. For example, perhaps "arm" droids priority over others, or "build" Sams first. Just musing while I mess around with Evermore.

Very nice it has been a while since I have played a creeper world game and while I miss the story the random maps are a nice touch. Keep up the great work.

As a tiny little criticism, please make a way of being able to control more than one drone at a time, something like pressing D for available drone. Or if there is a way that has somehow eluded me, make it more knowen.

still don't like the automated survival after an hour. Wile I'm more than capable of finishing the level in under an hour, I don't want to. I want to blast the creeper of the map and have an energy supply :(.

Took me a couple of deaths to get the hang of it, but once I figured out how creep moved and what time I had to build things, I liked the continuity of the gameplay. Have to say though, apart from a level that had spores attacking where I needed Surface to Air missiles, I just used masses of drones and a line of blasters for weaponry. I found anything else too complicated (I'm not very co-ordinated). Starting with plenty of reactors and speed things was good too, but again, I ignored the storage things. Basically it's a good game if you like something where you need to check out the instructions and can take your time to get a win. If you're more action orientated, it might not be your thing. Ta to the developers for something different though :)

@mati21: Survival mode turns on automatically at an hour into the mission, because you should be able to complete any level in under an hour.

Is it just me who is still impatient with the game's speed, even if it is fast-forwarded?
Still, of all the games on Kongregate, this series is my all time favourite, definitely spent hours playing this absolutely amazing game!

An important tip for hard maps such as August 10: Defend choke points! If you let the creeper get to open ground, your lasers will be less efficient. On the Aug. 10 Map, the crepper will flow down three valleys: North-West, Center and South. You need to rush blasters to all three valleys. If the creeper gets past those choke points, it will slowly envelop you.

The game is good but allow player to disable survival mode it turns on halfway in a mission and i cant defend because of that massive wave made by creeps otherwise 4/5
