Don't you think that the bird is actually your sister?
I mean, you never see your sister in the whole game, because, in the game you don't have a sister. Or at least, in that world. The bird, is leading you out of the coma, by tricking you to go into the basement, so you can ring the "dore bell" and escape. The person in the coma is probably pretty young, thanks to all the misspellings and the fact that the maker of this game probably purposely spelled "door bell" as "dore bell throughout the whole game. I'm pretty sure it's more just a spelling mistake.

Is it just me or if you stay in the Silver Shute long enough you can hear this man say something along the lines of "Hey, Pete"? It should come right after you pass the wall with "Wake up Pete" on it...

Regardless of what I do, when I play the sister's song on the piano, the "E" key, well, it "sticks", and it won't let me play the song, so I can't get to the basement.

I'm sharing this because it's a fairly easy part to get lost in, it happened to myself as well: when you fall in "The Silver Shute", you have to go to the farthest room to the left, after grabbing the light. There, carefully scout the room for some curly thin branches. It's a slim, vine-like tree, and you have to climb it. From there on I'll just leave it up to you guys to figure out.

Five stars. This is the most polished game I've played ever.
But the self-ads really break the beauty of the game (maybe because of the font? dunno). It's okay if you put them, just not that way. Otherwise brilliant game.

This is why I respect flash games. Some people don't, cause they're free and short and don't have the latest 3D graphics..
I would buy this game any day. I would buy a collector's edition of this. 5 stars, favorited, saved in a corner of my heart

I don't get it... After falling into the basement, the bird saying "Pete, I lied to you" and your sister not being there just doesn't fit in multiple ways.

Genuinely my favourite game on kongregate, the story is just beautiful, that sort of melancholic sadness I'm so fond of is rarely captured as brilliantly as it is in this game.

"make yourself useful and go find out what is clogging the drain." *decides to be a bit rebellious, and clicks "no." "Do it or I will kill you." A bit harsh.

degon: Try jumping around randomly without any rhyme or reason. That's how I beat that part. Actually, that's how I beat most of the game.

alright, this is my take on the story. the story is about an actual coma, and the character you are playing as is a little boy, hence the "dore" bell. the entire world is your imagination, created off of ideas you had, such as a girl named jon. the dad could represents the disease, or, the accident, that is trying to kill you, like when he says check what's clogging the drain or I'll kill you. the bird represents the voice of reason trying to help you, or possibly a mom, or even your sister, who you were trying to save. the sister represents a sister, likely younger than you. I say this, because, like i mentioned before, the reason your in a coma was an accident. maybe you saved your sister from this accident, or maybe she got the disease as well, which would lead to you feeling like you had to protect her. the weird, fleshy level from the end is you leaving the coma, which is why it’s a puzzle, but that's all just a theory. 1+ if you agree with the idea, and post ideas of your own.
