@octyldodecanol: Score isn't an indicator of skill. A person with negative score could be better then someone with one million. Score means nothing outside of arena.

@Datura/everyone who is still unaware: Pvp1 is merely broken. Pvp2 is really slow. Pvp duels has and always will be the best way of getting a game. Many people have said this quite a lot since the pvp1 server broke around the start of november, so I'm still wondering why the word hasn't spread.

I agree with edcedcedc, This game has always been free and would remain free. I don't know where you got your idea from ibeporkinu but you maybe should read the upcoming patch notes some times as it's updated with content that will be in the patch.

Neko you know if opponent leaves in pvp you wont lose a ai will take over. You only if you will lose connection to the server.

The only real tip i have for new players is don't use overly complicated decks. If you can manage a deck with 6 of one creature, 6 of another and 2 of another and 12 pillars then go for it. Don't try and smash like 1 or 2 copies of a ton of cards in a deck. Wait till you know the game a bit better before you do that.

@rabidpwny: Just because your mad at the RNG doesn't mean its unbalanced, nor does immaterial weapons mean its unbalanced. Please actually get a firm bases of knowledge before you call something unbalanced.

@angryproductsinc i hope there will never be an elements 2. Besides cards, how would it be different from elements 1? Any new features - game modes- could simply be added into this game. An elements 2 would cause a split in the community- a part that plays elements 1, and a part that moves to 2. If elements 2 isn't extremely fun, the 2nd part will stop playing. Just see what happened to 'sacred seasons' to see what I mean.

I totally agree with you ed, I have never seen a bad comment of qazz. He does a great job as Forum moderator.. He answers all questions of new people who need help. Im following the comment thing here for like half a year now and he simply does his job awesome :D This sounded weird but nvm.

And @Kauhana: Its not at all close to impossible to get electrum or make a better deck. You can even have 500 score in under an hour, which follows over 500 electrum as well. That is all from the start to mind you. And there is a mulligan, only happens once and you don't see it. It was made this way to prevent having to add a turn 0 to the game, hence slowing down the game, most notably pvp, even more.

This is my favorite card game on Kongregate. It's really similar to Magic but simplified, and there are a lot of ways to build decks. Plus the upgrade your cards mechanic makes it more interesting for me.

@ponytstar, the art you see taken from Spore is used with permission. It comes from the creature creator. Having known Zanz and the things he went through with his community to add to the game I would vouch for his game.

back when this game first started there were alot more updates and the strategy was always changing now days it seems to be just CC rainbows or rush decks. theres just less an less strategy now days with the absence of even semi regular updates. now i knw zanz is pretty much a man team an is prolly often busy with day to day life, but EtG is gaining an occult following but many of the vets have gotten bored and moved on to other games. if zanz had the man power/time to add more cards i would suggest perms that act kinda like trap cards nothing too OP just something that would negate a spell cast on a creature/item then disperse and maybe even limit the number of these cards allowed per deck to 3 maybe even a weapon that cost a significant amt to use the counter abil once per turn. this is just one small suggestion that wouldnt break rush decks or CC but would add strategy to how these decks are used or countered.

@Kompiuternuss: Apparently, there's a really powerful bug you can do if you activate a creature's skill then cancel it really quickly. Second, there is a mulligan; If you have no 0=costing cards in your starting hand, the game will give you another hand. Open ETG has a paris mulligan, but... I like this version more.
