Hello There.
I “pwn” most any games I’ve tried, as they say, lol.

I have beaten Solitaire, cleared the small minefield from minesweeper several times, and once almost cleared the medium, but there were these numbers where you just couldn’t tell which square the mine was under, and I took a 50/50 and lost. Dang!
I have also mastered Freecell, having scored a streak of 4 wins back in my playing days.

I’m an avid console gamer, I can beat the first 3 levels of Mario Brothers on the NES in next to no time, and I know this secret on the first level where you hit “down” when you’re on this pipe, right? And you actually go down into a secret little section where there are coins… AND you end up near the end of the level, past all the hard bits that used to kill me.

Finally, I’m a fan of FPS’s. From Wolf 3d to Doom, Rise of the Triad, Duke 3d, Quake 1 – 3, counter strike, medal of honour, Doom 3, STALKER, Kens Labyrinth.
Ever since I learnt to strafe in Doom (by using the ALT key), I could dodge those pesky Imp fireballs and I’ve never looked back.

I don’t use a mouse, stupid things, I have completed Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Quake 1 and 2, Doom 3, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R all with the keyboard. You just have to save a lot, but I’ve crawled my way through.

My FPS playing style didn’t seem to immediately suit multi player games, I didn’t get that… I’d log onto Quake 3 arena and I just get fragged and fragged.
However, I ended up developing a strategy where I would find a hiding place with a good view of some narrow pass or door where other players came through.
This hiding place would also need to be near a big weapon (ie rocket launcher, grenades, or rail gain (but I can’t aim that)) and some armour/health, and kill people as they come past, occasionally running out to get the weapons when I’m lowc.
I’m improving, and I’m actually starting to enjoy it!!
