Notifications work when you shout or when someone else shouts on your page.

That hasn’t got anything to do with this, you’re talking to yourself on your friend’s page which is kind of sad.

The mail icon on the header doesn’t light up when someone replies to a shout on their profile.

I watched the movie you took the quote about magic from and i thought it was cheesy and stupid since the only thing i could make out of it were the death accidents during tricks, which just kept happening all the time over and over duration of the movie
