I’m not sure if you’ll see this, but thanks for all the years you made this site better, and the games you made. Sadly it seems like Thousand Dollar Soul and God’s Assassin aren’t playable here anymore, but I remember loving them years ago. Maybe someday they’ll be preserved somewhere else? IMHO it would be a shame for them to be lost forever.

Hello Greg, just wanted to say that I’d been playing games on kongregate to pass the time for many years all the way back in 2014 when I was a child, I remember being inanely shit and I was unable to do much in any game back then but I still remember being very happy when I got some easy/medium badges, and my first hard badge (I didn’t get many because i never really hunted them), and I for years thought you actually made or owned kongregate because of how much I saw you referenced back in the days. I was looking at my badges on a nostalgia trip and just wanted to wish you well with whatever it is you do now (from what I understand, not kongregate stuff) and thank you as a proxy for all the fun times I had over the years.
Hello, Greg! Ever since I discovered this site, I was fascinated by the badges and points system, which made me want to create an account to save my progress. Thanks for all the good memories you brought me during my time here! I still miss when you worked at Kongregate.
So, the game sends certain numbers to the servers, then the servers use those numbers and compare them with thresholds to award badges to the player. Sounds simple.
