Feb 18, 2019 3:01am Starcom is still bugged and unplayable. I’d say you don’t deserve any success at Steam since you don’t even fix your old games.

Well, considering the latest update was done on August 8 2014, well over 2 years ago, I think it’s safe to say the game is dead. ![]()

Game development paused for a while, but started again up full steam last year. It still has a ways to go, but it started closed beta recently and testers have been super enthusiastic. ![]()

These stations could be trade ports, mining stations, research labs, shipyards, hangar platforms, weapon satelites etc… looking forward to hearing other opinions PS: should Starcom 2 be as good as Starcom (and a bit longer) and make it to STEAM, I’d buy it. definitely. show less

I’m still early in the design/prototype phase of the game. While constructing stations will probably be outside the scope of the game, acting in concert with allied forces is definitely a goal, with both defensive missions (protecting allies from enemies) and offensive (launching attacks supported by allied ships). Starcom 2, if it happens, would definitely be longer than the original and available as a buyable game on Steam. If you haven’t yet, make sure you fill out the survey on the Starcom page and you’ll be added to the mailing list for announcements on the game. show less![]()

I as yet still have not found any game that equals the creativity and ingenuity of this game, and it is a great inspiration to me, especially since I am starting college soon to be a programmer and want to begin developing games myself. Really hope you’ll start the sequel soon, and over the next couple of years of college, look forward to your input on any games I eventually upload as results of my learning in school. show less

Jun 24, 2013 2:07pm Starcom really received a lot less plays and ratings than it should have. A truly magnificent game, yet far too short. Has astounding potential… If you would to make part 2, I think a lot of people here would be overjoyed. I have to admit, your game was simply the best I played here. ![]()

Aug 24, 2011 3:57pm Will there be a Starcom 2? Please try to make it, the original Starcom was amazing(despite there not being a lot of missions) and is the favorite of many, not just me. Starcom 2 would be a great addition; just try to add a few more missions, and it would beat the original starcome by alot ;)
