Last night, Kongregate saw a lot of fresh new updates. Most awesomely, our APIs now support AS3 and Flash 9! What does this mean? Well, expect to see a good increase in the number of achievements over the next month or so (hopefully).

Also incredibly awesome is the fact that we are now accepting applications for our card game's closed beta! Be sure to check out our cards page for more information.

We also have email notifications available for when users receive shouts in their profile, and users can leave private shouts (whispers) as well.

The badges page also received pagination for increased performance, but we're far from finished with fully fleshing it out.

Also, major props to COCAK for making an official news update regarding these changes before Kongregate's own lazy community manager could get around to it.
