javeling farmers and jumping on hoplites make me smile... arrows are anoying... there should be some way to kill horseriders :P i like this game :)

If you want to change the controls from wasd to the arrow keys, make sure you change the second player keys first. Otherwise it won't let you change to those keys.

For those having problems, check the award section, it kinda tells you how to react to the different dangers.

@Alex, you can outrun the guys who chase you but it takes a while, you basically have to hold down sprint the entire time, don't slow for any obstacles and you'll eventually get rid of him, and she'll tell you that you can slow down.

Totally badge-worthy :) Just one minor thing that throws me off - the last level is so bloody long, it would be nice to have some sort o indicator of how much of it there is still to run through.

nvm about hoplites.... With their spear braced there I never thought to jump them.
This game really takes me back to my Amiga days.... sigh.

@mrsundquist He's supposed to be a Greek (Athenian) But I think he just got off the campaign chasing Moose & Sqvirrel. Hot the heck do you beat a hoplite?!

What a breathtaking work of art. The drawings are something else and the action is insanely intense. Music is just as epic as the whole. Timeless game.

how do you defend against the guy that is pursuing you (I think it's in lvl 5)? i go as fast as you can and he still catches me...
PS: to equip the things you bought you have to click them again (@developer: that's a thing you should tell us)

I don't mind the hard gameplay, but it is really annoying pressing a button 3-4 times and it not working. Checkpoints would make that less annoying.

Beautiful, breath taking, excellent. Those came to my mind. Just plain beautiful game. Also it provides great challenge which boosts its value. I really did enjoy playing this. Wonderful job!

The foreground and the background use the same shading and colror scheme. There is also objects in front of the foregrouind, which is artisticaly good, but bad for game play since it makes it impossible at times to see the obstacles on the players 'layer' of the screen.

I'm missing something. Why does the rider keep dyeing. Is it the artistic brown lump or the semi artistic brown lump?
