not a bad game, not as good as the Age of War series but with a developer who actually reads comments, which is extremly rare, this game has loads of potential, I encourage ffgameplayer to make a sequel using these ideas and see how much better it will be.

I haven't even played yet and I'm giving this game a 5/5 just for the bonus content being so unlockable (in other words, we don't have to pay with anything except time :)

Crazy good, but takes like FOREVER to beat even the first battle... unless I'm doing it wrong. However, that's what makes this game good! 8/5

Simplify the game and you have gold. Too many things going on for the average gamer to play over and over. Good side scroll games are mostly simple in control, which creates repeatability.

A bug that you can fix: I use grow on my Hero, and after a short while, he levels. The grow status is maintained (graphics wise), yet stats revert to their standard numbers.

At first it annoyed me that the melee upgrades don't work on the powerful units that are likely the ones that ultimately win you the game, but after awhile I've come to appreciate that you end up wanting to get as few of them as possible so you don't have as much wasted money later, and it turns into trying to optimize your early game so you don't need as much power on your front line troops so you can transition into full time drakes or golems easier.

It's amusing to see the comments about "invulnerable" towers while I'm trying an impossible difficulty run. On impossible, the towers get crazy enough that they will instantly kill anything smaller than a hero or a drake and will tear through even tough units starting almost immediately, but you can still beat it, you just have to make sure you get a catapult up and protect it for as long as you can manage once it gets into firing range. It adds an interesting dynamic to the game that I actually kind of prefer.

i would like to see this buttons: retreat, hold ground, march i rely think that this buttons will give a more strategic balance to the game and a more fun way to do it

The experience system seems to encourage toying with the enemy... There should be a reward for quick battles to balance it out.

For those with save issues, distribute your points after a victory, and go to the battle screen. Instead of starting the next battle, go to the main menu, refresh the page, and all of your progress is saved.

also i have an idea about a new unit a spy who runs across the battle field and if he gets to the other side you can see the enimeys stats ie: respect, gold and exp and have a upgread that allows him to clock and pass by units unnoticed

by the way, not sure if you realize it but your game has no icon on the new games list. Its been that way for a week.

you misspelled throw "troll...through boulders". please throw in a mini map so you can see your troops on the map. and perhaps a way to recall all troops to your castle?

I don't know why, but my progress isn't saving past the second mission. The game crashes my computer during the sixth mission, and when I come back, I have to start over from the thrid mission. Also, missions 4 and 5 are really laggy, even on low quality.
