great concept but gets really boring when you have to watch the ball. should be able to click to finish the current putt and place the ball where it would have landed had you watched the whole thing.

so... it's not an easy game to get the hang of. so... newtonian gravity in multi-planetary settings is counterintuitive. if anything, the physics are too realistic for casual gameplay. "nerfing" newton's laws could make the gameplay easier, but that's not quite the point. also, to my esteemed colleague, mr. murkyhawk : different rules are not being applied. the force of gravity DOES change as a function of distance.

Yet another comment, anyway, the Escape Velocity is also screwed, from what I SEE, the code is like this:
If Initial SPeed < Escape Velocity, let Ball Drag on the Planet
If Initial Speed > Escape Velocity, let the ball fly off the planet, and as such... You can't really see if the power is making your ball LIFT OFF when you're BLATANTLY TRYING TO Go in that Direction

"gravity is accouted by Size"
It seems to be, and NOT density...if it was density, I congratulate the Maker on how he has executed the game...using Super Density, and locating gravity from NOWHERE.....Pure Logic....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Doo, that isn't the case, the case is that the Physics is Screwed, gravity is accouted by Size.....besides, different rules apply in different situations, that is like.....uhh, NOT EARTH Gravity? You get pulled every single attoseconds and the gravity that is Exerted doesn't seem to be CHANGING, in fact...you can't roll off the planets sometimes, you just ZIP through the planet and create big friction.....this is utter crap, secondly, the centre of the planets is NOWHERE, I don't see how the gravity can drag you upwards of the planet and it is as if there is NO force at the lower part of the Planet, zero Logic...

concerning gravity of a planet vs. its size: gravity is a function of mass. planets made of denser materials (iron, for example) will exert more gravity than a similarly sized (and even larger ones) that are composed largely of gases. i haven't played enough yet to see if the color of the planets is a good indication of their density, but i have a sneaking suspicion that this is the case (and is probably explained in an unlockable tip - or should be). i agree that it could use an in-game button to exit to main menu. fun game!

there's been some good games useing gravity and this is not one of them, the gravity is messed up. The gravity has nothing to do with the size of the planet, it's random. Often times the smallest planets have the biggest gravity. 1/5

Add a back to menu button please. Annoying if you click on the wrong round and have to play all 9 holes or quit the game. Would love to have some music as well. Other then that, amazing game. Well done with it! 4/5 but would be 5/5 with a menu button.

The physics are good and realistic, I can't imagine how you did that...
I feel sorry for the people who live on the planets, the size of the golf ball would easily crush them!

if you know you blew a ball way out of bounds you should be able to reshoot right away instay of waiting for it to stop

No visual indication as to which planets have higher density/gravity. No way to quit to the main menu.
Possible lack of other features, but without being able to see the menu, I can't tell if those are missing or not :P

Physics were horrible.
Make them accurate and I'll give it another try. For now it's just a Galactic Gravity golf wannabe.

Needs a menu button... again.
My main problem with the physics is that the planets seem to have attractions that are not relative to their size. It would be awesome if there were numbers on the planets telling the player the relative force that each planet puts on the ball.

Awsome game, just lacks a return to main menu while playing feature (Would be helpful when going for like gold medals!!)
4/5!

I like it, I've made some really cool to watch hole in ones... but unfortunately I've also missed terribly in such ways that make me angry. I get stuck on the level that first has the Sun for like, 15 strokes because I putt it towards the planet with the goal and it barely pulls it in. I simply cannot get my ball to stay on it. Seems to me that size makes no difference on the power of its pull here...

not, bad, but as has been said, the physics isn't quite newtonian. I think there is a velocity cap, since after falling into the gravity well for 1000 km, it should be smoking, but no, it delicately bounces off the planet... =P It would help to see a planet's mass, theres some small planets on there that are a pain to get away from and some large planets that don't affect it much. Also, having the aiming arrow constrained by a box is a bit confusing. It looks like its stronger when you shoot diagonally. =P

Could do with some way to see how much pull the planets have (a density number?), though i still do have 6 unlockables to go. Also, a button to cancel the shot instead of waiting for it to go out of bounds (of course, the number of shots taken still goes up). What's up with the aiming? The arrow doesn't follow the mouse and a ruler shouldn't be necessary. A very nice game though, great idea with the unlockables, achievements and high scores

Seems like it could be fun, but as has been said below, the physics make no sense, and balls that are near planets get fired off out of bounds for no apparent reason.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The physics just feels totally wrong somehow. Distant planets can seemingly have more influence on the ball's trajectory than the one it's just pixels away from hitting. The achievements setup is fun, but I don't think I can get past the counterintuitive ball behavior to earn all the unlockables.
