You open a hidden door, and step inside the dark room. You see a treasure chest in the middle of the floor, glistening with an energy to represent the valuables sealed inside. You break the lock, and lift the lid while anticipating the awesome reward awaiting you. You see what is inside and instantly recognize the item within.
The leader of the Realm of Madness is able to hear your cries of fury from two floors below you, something that includes cursing the gods for hiding a single "lesser healing potion" in a treasure chest that was in a hidden room guarded by bloodthirsty monsters.

At first the drops were managable. I would quickly sell the items I didn't need keep the ones I needed... and then suddenly I ended up with 5 full bags of items I deemed worthy of keeping... I think I am a hoarder...

Also note that when you restart an Act, the enemies will be starting at your level (went back to Act 1 from Act 2 and enemies started at level 5)

This is a great game, but it REALLY needs a full screen mode (or just make the window bigger. Everything is SO small!

*TO SELL BAG* Go to the emporium and look at the bottom right for sell. Then click the money bag next to the item counter(50/100) etc.

I love my characters uncanny ability to know if a gear is better or worse than the gear he has equipped by just looking at it...

If only there was talent tree for every character that we would build for our team and every player would have different team, hours of playing and setting everything, now its just: 'get all skills -> max one stats'

Holy crap it's been about four years and FINALLY we get the sequel we've been waiting for, and I have to say, it sure as hell didn't disappoint. But I guess you could say the inevitable finally happened (Oh god premium content) Ah well, I just glad it's just a link and not a money-grabbing hellhole :) 5/5

Not sure I like the auto level scaling with the characters you use. Part of the fun of an RPG is to go back and kick the crap out of things that used to give you trouble.

Champion: you know I'm going to take this sword that gives no bonuses over that hand axe with massive stat increase.
Me: WHAT!!! are you retarded?

So what do i do if i've lost access to my Premium Content?? I finished Act I and now i can't use any of the other 10 classes i unlocked. Nor can i use the extra Options for Campaigns. But i still have the 5 Sparks of legend in my bags?

Hella good! Loved the previous MD games and this one is the full beans. Leagues ahead of any other RPG on Kong. I got the extra content just to support the developers. More please! A PVP arena where you can test your might against others perhaps.

I wish you could adjust the bag settings to be of whatever quality and below, as well as above. I want to sort all the "storied" (set) pieces and above in one bag, and all the uncommon and below loot in another so I can use the sell-all button without having to reorganize my inventory. Other than that, great game.
You can get that effect. The bag for the storied and above items just needs to be the first one. (then successive bags are set to store loot in descending rarity)

ko3e the barbarians are what happens when you equip your Warden Ranger with a Greataxe instead of his crappy crossbow :P

The only thing I don't like of this Monster's Den is that you only have one save slot. I miss a lot having more than one team (with different strategies) so I can play with the others if I get bored of the campaign I'm actually playing.

Apparently, having two warriors and two clerics, with the clerics being radiant and regenerating everyone else, and with the champion in front and captain in back with a spear, you can have the team with the highest survival rate ever (at a lvl 50 team, with all wearing legendary sets and weapons, I got them to last 50+ waves in survival without potion boosts). Having two people that can revive, and all four able to heal each other while all able to tank damage is a really effective strategy that I recommend to new players. Only downside is in the beginning you have to choose who to give new armor to, because all four use heavy armor. Best to give all four different weapon types so as to not fight over any gear is recommended as well (captain a spear, the cleric in the center with a mace/shield combo, champion with greatsword/axe for damage dealing, and other cleric with hammer works well).

Love this game, have played it to death. However one minor tweak I would love to see is for "gambler's dice." Make it so that after dragging and dropping you have the option to reroll so long as you have dice in your inventory. Dragging and dropping 100s of times in a row is tedious.

GUIDE TO FARMING LEGENDARY SPARKS
1. Get enough renown to buy architect's plan
2. Farm cash
3. Buy as many plans as you are able to
4. Start a new act 1 campaign, use plans. if you see a shrine go for it, otherwise exit the dungeon and do over.
best to upgrade weapons first

Awesome game. However, I do wish that monsters leveled up as you progressed deeper in the dungeon and not with your party. First, you don't really feel a strong sense of progression if you come back to campaign 1 after campaign 3 and the cultists are just as good as killing you as they were before. Second, I'd like to be able to go back and grind up a bit if I feel like I picked the wrong stats/skills and the current enemies are kicking my ass.
Otherwise, I love all the other changes you made. Graphics are amazing, and I liked how I could customize my party to whatever I pretty much wanted. 5/5, but I've stopped playing since I think I ruined my party heh.

The next evolution of the dungeon-crawling RPG series. Customize and shape your group of heroes through an all-new series of adventures. Battle terrifying monsters and collect powerful loot. Sounds Promising.

I do think the game is great, but some feedback is in order. 1- you enable me to organize auto-loot from x on up, but not x on down. This makes sorting junk equips from story or legendary equips a pain from what I can tell so far. 2- When adjusting formation, it would be nice to also change the passive condition rather than waiting for your selection to end (nothing major, just a personal suggestion.). 3- the map feels small and my prescription is expiring. Being able to zoom in to see the dungeon map would be LOVELY. Thanks!

@ErikA50 Who cares about graphics? I mean, seriously. Games would be so much better if developers focused more on music, gameplay & storyline than making the graphics top-notch. Anyway, great game, love the idea with being able to customize what loot goes in which bag. Definitely a 5/5 for me :)

On other game sites his Premium Content price choices were:
A) $4.99
B) $2.99
C) $0.99
D) Whatever you decide to donate.
I presume this Premium Price was what took so long for the game to get here. If you don't like it, blame Kongregate. It's not Garin's fault. He was asking for less than a dollar everywhere else, with the option to pay more if you felt like it.

Good little tip, when buying consumables, load in on a level 1 char, and spam the re-stock for a lot cheaper with the same outcome as using a higher level character :) saved myself a fortune looking for those 'special' items haha

The game is great! Although a bit disorienting at first, because I'm used to the interface of the previous games. Nethertheless, I think it's a great successor to the previous games. Many thanks to developers! =)
