nice songs from super mario and final fantasy. although the came maybe ur classic and abit boring 2D shooter it pretty relaxing and surpirsingly engaging to play the game.

That was a good one! :) I was totally like "aw, come on man! When there appeared a skull snake and 2 spiders at once!

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
One toke? You poor fool! Wait till you see those goddamn bats.

wow. I am SO glad that our heli troops do NOT have to sling the copters in the direction, with the force required to get their bombs the range they need...I can't even tell you. In The Corps, there was no better sound than a well equipped, ACCURATE copter coming to support you. Thank god GregAnims was never a pilot. 2/5

Music from Final Fantasy VI, Super Mario World and other classics. That alone makes this game amazing. Oh and its fun too.

Wow weird how the a typical game feels so fresh solely on its style. Really impressive and the soundtrack is amazing. I need to find the mario remix in the sharks belly, pure gold.

did anyone else think the music in the shark's stomach sounded like a really sweet remix or at least sampling of the Super Mario World castle theme?

Dayumn, this is AWESOME. The difficulty curve and challenge are brilliant, they provide the player with a great challenge without driving him to insanity. The gameplay is fairly creative, but still very basic and generic, providing familiar controls with a new twist. The storyline is told quite well, and you get a sense of fear just from the elements around you in the game. Definitely a great job.

I' greatly prefer keyboard controls to mouse, espc on my laptop. Since this game barely uses mouse aiming, and doesn't seem to need mouse movement, it seems a shame not to have a keyboard control option.

When someone says that the game is too short, that is actually a compliment saying that they wish there was more to play, that being said, this game is too short. 5/5

wow this is a masterpiece...it keeps you guessing, has straight forward gameplay, sets its mood well, its challengeing but not too hard, and has a pretty hardcore epic retro sound track and the graphics are a sort of up to date retro with the movement

"He who makes a beast out of himself gets rid of the pain of bein' a man!"
Epic Avenged Sevenfold reference with the title!

The game's author blatantly ripped off of the Super Mario Bros. castle theme. Too lazy to make your own sounds or write your own music, or even credit the people you stole them from? Shame on you.

This game uses sounds from "Sinistar", from back in the day when you had to go to an arcade to play video games. Oh how much more productive I would be if we still had go to arcades.

Did you know that you can protect yourself from the bats by just spamming the bombs while stationary and fire at the bats. :D

"Sinistar" sounds, nice choice. Because it inspires optimism when a game starts with the noises from The Worlds Hardest Arcade Game, EVER!

The game could allow for weapon upgrades. It's a somewhat plain side scrolling shooter without it, though level 2 was a fairly unique sight.
Btw, I'm pretty sure the game was inspired the novel 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' and not A7X. The reference to the author's name (Private Thompson) is proof of this. For the record, the A7X song of the same name was definetly inspired from the novel.
