This game deserves a 5/5, regardless of developer comment. I absolutely love the fact that you guys didn't include the static upgrade system, where you need to improve ship speed, firing rate, etc. It's one of the aspects of this game that makes it unique, separating it from every other shooter game ever. It leaves more room for fun since you aren't wasting two hours of your time repeating the third level to farm money for better upgrades just so you can continue playing.
Some people have said that this game was lacking variation between ships, but I believe otherwise. The damage is definitely noticeable, and there were several different features that made each ship unique and also a strategic pick, depending on what enemies you're up against. I didn't find the upgrade system lacking in any way. Great job guys, leave the upgrades the way they are!! *x5

The Hard badge should be more like impossible. The 20th level is ridiculous, how to they expect you to win with the shield generators under another shield?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
yeah devs asking for 5/5 normal get so much lower ratings then the game actauly deserves! Please if you want higher rating's i'd remove those comments ;)

It's not a very sexy way to beat level 20 but use the shocker to push the last three capital ships out of the ring then the snipers secondary weapon to zap them outside. Switch back & forth to keep the ships away. Takes about 25 minutes so plan accordingly.

HeroInteractive, your thoughts on the rating system are rather appalling... You're right, no comment will probably make anyone give you five stars, but what you've said will certainly make me give you 1. (And no amount of flying pony guns will change that either.)

Might just be my computer, but I have a tendency to get lagspikes if I am firing the standard weapon while pressing two of the movement keys or quickly changing directions. Also, sometimes the econdary weapon doesn't fire but goes on cooldown anyway.

>Getting blasted to bits by Capital Ship spam.
>Character says something witty about how useless they are.
>Dies.
For f*ck's sake, STOP TAUNTING THEM!

you made it sound like this jazzy smooth combo of every game ever that runs off state-of-the-art classy engines. and its like, galaga with an extra dimension.

The game itself is good, though I think it could use less of the bubble tank series similarities. For example: the field or "bubble" should be expanded immensely, the weapons should have a few unique properties rather then be based of bubble tanks, and could use a bit more in the shop (most likely already mentioned, but I would like to see upgrades integrated into this or the next game) as well as a "sell ship." 5/5 Looking forwards to more games.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it uses the buble tanks engine while managing to lose all the apeal that bubble tanks had, 3/5 because it is not a 'bad' game, but it was an utter disapointment, and i expected better.

How the hell do last missin i mean kill last 3 big green ships? I cant kill them so quick that they dont put shield on and if they have it i almost dont hit them... some other players taelk about small ships with gives them shield but i dont see eny(enyway i first clear all that only 3 big ships left).I really like buble tank becouse of almost all customize from movment, armor to how amny and how tricky or powerfull wepon can be here is nothing of this so its much much worse.

I just noticed that some of the ship names are based on the class name or class jobs of Team Fortress 2. like Sniper, demoman and pyro. Also like Shock and Awe.

A rather large problem: The big bugships will often place their shield generators below each other, making it pretty much impossible to destroy them (since you need a weapon that penetrates enemies and also enough luck to actually hit them without seeing them).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
IF the Eanova are the most powerfull race in the galaxy, how is it that a singly measly human ship is able to destroy hundreds of their ships?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The last level is pretty dumb when multiple of the shielded capital ships spawn, and the shield generator of one is protected by the shield of another, effectively rendering the ships invincible.

The red exile ships dont seem to die after their health bar is gone, if this is intended due to some kind of a shield, then it would be helpful to show the shield hp bar also, otherwise it seems like a bug in the game
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like how the exile (red guys?) basic fighters have the health of a capital ship, that's a really nice touch on the "adding more difficulty" thing. You know, we wouldn't want those swarms of basic fighter to go down too ez now would we?

....................
The game FRICKING erased my savefile. I was in the last mission, going for the hard badge, and now I have nothing...
Just great.

Good game. 4/5 Pretty fun till the end and yes, the upgrading system is pretty much the only thing that needs to grow. I hope that there will be a sequel.

Amazing game 5/5. Good ships are: "Armored Assault" -> good for start / "Weapon X" -> security through iceblast, 6 orbital seekers and 2 machineguns the same as for "Bullet Storm" / "AI 3100" -> 4 turrets + 1 machinegun and seeker missiles, good but not as good as "Shock and Awe" -> Can 3 traps throw, they make good damage and push the opponent away from his own ship, you can ships ram and have a missiles storm. / "Crusher" -> ultimative ship, 2 miniguns, 2 - 6 seeker missiles (wait a little time), 6 orbital seeker and 2 turrets !!!
Other ships: "Bullet Storm" 2 machineguns, but second weapon have low damage. "Pyro" good damage from flamethrower but only melee attack and second weapon low diameter and takes a lot of time to load. "Demo Man" can lay 5 mines, but they donĀ“t detonate if they touch a ship, only in 3s. Missiles is the same from "AI 3100". "Sniper" good dmg but low firerate!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Either the Sniper needs a faster fire rate, or the Crusher needs to have some piercing ability because on the last level, once the enemies shield up, you can't do anything but die.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay HeroInteractive, here's the deal: I give you a 5/5 rating, because this is a genuinely fun game, and in return, if you ever do make a sequel, you REMOVE THE BATTLE TAUNTS. All of them. Seriously. I'm fine with the pre-battle dialogue, but when our 'heroine' screams "You didn't even dent my ship!" for the hundredth time, it makes me want the Chosen to blow her up. Until they make the same bloody comment about humans dying in a vacuum, then I can go right back to killing them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To do the last mission: When the big ships are shielded they are invulnerable! Don't even try to shoot them, it will do nothing. You have to take out the shield generators (small drones).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, very repetitive game and as mentioned before, most ships aren't really very different. I did like the Sniper though, would've loved to see it a bit earlier. Not even going to bother with >10 waves of repetition.

You know your race is screwed when one female pilot is taking out most of your fleets. Wait till the male pilots make it into this battle.

I'm glad to see that the bubble tanks engine is actually this versatile... What I wouldn't give to have a tool like that at my disposal! The main thing keeping me from developing games myself is the complexity of creating a good engine. Well, that and lack of art skills.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this game could be a real hit when it's developed a bit more. U said it was made with the same engine as bubble tanks, i think u should incorporate the 'design ur own ship' idea. That way u can be creative and stay motivated. The story needs some MAJOR development, i think the whole concept around this "artifact" could have a story cos all i could make out was a convoy, an artifact and a fleet of degenerates. For the make ur own ship thing i think instead of the bubble tanks "GP" or "part points", u should consider using the general currency scrap. A personal idea i'd like 2 put forward is the part creator. sounds a bit far fetched doesn't it? But it is something i have always wanted 2 see in a game and never have seen. Bear in mind that u need to make flexible limits for it in terms of price, size, stats etc. A few pre-made parts are probably going 2 be useful for the creator and selectable graphics for the bullet or flame or whatever u want fired.

You aren't kidding when you say you nerfed the Bullet Storm. It went from a great ship to absolutely useless. Couldn't there have been some middle ground there?
