Beautiful game. I'm sure I missed half the references, but everything from Zork to ADOM to Zelda, and that's just the game-related ones.

5/5 for a Borderlands reference. That alone makes me want to beat this game no matter how long it takes.
Patricia Tannis is the reference, btw.

I just read the introduction. It reminds me considerably of The Phantom Tollbooth, which was one of my favorite books growing up (and still is). Great mood :)

Absolutely loved this game, the first wall of text made me kind of hestitate to play this, but I just couldnt stop reading. This game deserves a rightfull 5/5

For a book about history, the music is a little too...peaceful. History is usually as far from "peaceful" as one can get.

Such a geat game! So peaceful, so calming. It feels like i watched a long forgotten movie from childhood. Perfect mood before going to sleep ;) Thank you.

Honestly I went through a lot of it, but I don't have time for a nice game since I like to thoroughly read word to word. So I give it a 4/5

Perhaps you should refer to this as a "playable novel" rather than a "game" so the philistines will avoid it entirely, rather than rating it down because it has words.

The 10% of the population that can still read sentences with more than five words will definitely love it.
Your style of writing is great, fresh, entertaining and funny and the music is just great.
Thank you.

This game was sweet! I like the story. For some reason "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass" kept poping up in my mind.. 5/5 Stars!

Apparently some people are unable to read so immediately rate this game down. We should feel sorry for these unfortunate people, yet amazed that they can operate a computer with such little education.

To all the people demotivated by the walls of text: After your intial visit to the Town, the amount of text dminishes rapidly. Please give this game a try. I loved every minute past the first five.

Indeed, It is philosophical, but before i can begin to comprehend it I will need bananas. Bananas are the first step in philosophy.

The quality of the writing, the artwork and the setting is something way beyond anything most mainstream games could ever hope to accomplish. This is a brilliant, unique and (only slightly) demented offering. 5/5

Graphics are poor, gameplay is weak (OK, I just don't like the genre), plotline is OK, writing is excellent. Not an amazing game overall, but averaging out to mediocre is better than being mediocre in every respect. 4/5, hesitantly.
