Each new game having a lot of new things, making more possibilities and etc... The 4º game of this serie came and i've decided to play since the 1º. And its impressive the quantity of things that changed and added. Each game its entirely a new game that stays much better than the past one. 4 for the 1º and 5 for the rest, because was a undead Goku who started everthing and then the story totally changed for cat gods. I prefer the new story.

I've had a lot of fun playing through all the Epic Battle Fantasies again and seeing how the series has progressed. This is definitely my favorite series for flash games. Everything from the music to gameplay to storyline is top notch.

I have won impossible badge aya! my first IMPOSSSIIIIIIBBLE badgeeeee thx kupo and now to tips: get air strike upgrades and no leg upgrades ( look at longgun) and melee counter to matt, nattz shoul have ... heal upgrades and every hero should get armour + magick armour. fighting lance : use flare if able and cast revive before dead + heal party/ buuf for nattz and matt use airsstrike/ potions and power metal. Is something wrong with my RNG? Because I can't even beat the guardian on easy when it keeps stunning both of my heroes every round, whereas my unleash/thunders never EVER stun him..

Just some tips for last boss: Keep the turrets alive, and sometimes you counters may kill them, but that's good so it reduces the damage they can do per turn until another spawns. Keep attacking the Tank and heal when necessary. (Pretty much all the time) It's also good if you have a lot of mist potions, in case Naz needs to use a spell, or even her ultimate, you can heal them with a mist pot.

Actually, nevermind. I got past the guardian boss. You mostly have to just hope you stun him, but you will most of the time.

I followed the guide in the "best" comments, and I am sure I did exactly as it said. When I got to the Guardian Boss, he didn't get stunned by any of my attacks. -_-

Cazoy's tips are a BIT off. First off, I suggest giving Matt only mdef instead of def, with defender you'll be taking 1/8 damage from physical attacks, the strongest physical attack the tank has does 2k base damage, nukes and ion however can easily do double or even quadruple that, mdef is what you want. As for Nat you want to get as much matk as possible, abilities and stats, believe it or not more matk for Nat means Slime bunny heals more (even when she's dead). Also do NOT use the blood blade, Slime bunny will keep you at just about full health, however the satellite turrets can reduce your attack into the negative, you cannot survive taking an extra 2k damage per turn from counters, just the Stone edge it has high Mdef which further helps keep you alive. Also Swordsman is not needed, while nice it just makes you do additional damage, survivability is key with the other abilities, so survivor or Earthern Soul would probably be better.

Ok. Instant kill move, two turns per round... two instant kills. I might use an if/then switch to turn off the second instant kill. Kind of an oversight.

TIPS PART 2 : 4. Try to get as much counter upgrades as possible. Matt could also get the Aerial Support for random Airstrike, and Natz could counter with Lucky Star, which are both useful. 5. Getting to the final boss, if you followed these tips, mostly your attacks would be counters and airstrike, and NoLegs, so you could have enough time to keeping your party alive and safe. 6. Get Matt to use Blood Blade and have counter upgrade, this will save Natz on HP to heal/revive Matt. Well, those are the tips, and the final boss should be easy if you follow these. I did, and successfully defeated Valkyrie without letting any member die.

These tips works for every difficulty for Valkyrie. PART 1: 1. First of all, especially in Epic Mode, STOP THE NUKE. You don't want to get washed away by ultimate firewaves. 2. If you can't stop the nuke, make sure Matt has Survivor upgrade, or/and Natalie occasionally gets Autolife effect for no reason. Helps. 3. You don't want to waste items and MP on healing attacks, right? So upgrading the 2 Bunny upgrades helps you regen health(It helps if you have Bunny!!! too, because sometimes Slime Bunny appears without any call)

For a flash based game, with a small team of such awesome indie's, this puts Final Fantasy to shame, and the music score just blew me away. A perfect 5/5 from me. 4 years later and this game is still one of the most awesome ones on Kongregate!
