I first started playing this game because of a quest, but have found myself coming back more and more! The story is epic and the game play is awesome. 5/5.

wow its extremely hard to beat challenge #1 let alone get positive score...
theres 1 metal mine... how the hell r u supposed to defend urself... 0 smog tons of flood lights and i could barely hold them off. i can live but half my bases are destroyed and then i get slightly -ve score... wtf...

lol haha in the last level i was producing so much power that i had the whole screen covered in tesla coils and flood lights.
the only downfall to this game is that you dont have to mine uranium for the nuclear powerplants. Makes it so easy to get power by simply building powerplants and dumping the waste in seemingly unfillable dump sites.
oh well still easy 5/5.

Whoa! This must've been the best flash game I've ever played for a while. I enjoyed it so much from the title screen till the end of the credits that it made me want to leave this first ever comment of mine on Kongregate. The production values for this gem is through the roof. Cool storyline, nice way to work the 'green' and 'zombies OMG!' theme together. Its educational to boot, too! The 'S' in the logo and the baby mutant at the end is a nice allusion to the Metroid series. And the song is genius. Coincidently, I played this on the first Halloween after the BP oil spill. LAWL

One of the best games i play for a while and awesome music like Pirate Defense :D
But I Complete Challenge 1 and it didn't count ! I thougt maybe i didn't make a positive score and did the second one and it didn't count too ! It's just me ? Do you have any solutions ?

This is another fantastic game that my personal tastes happen to clash with. It's very well done, polished, and balanced, but I still don't like it. These are the times when my opinions make me sad.

here's a custom challenge:try to survive 10 says,250 day time,750 night time.999 energy and smog. no other resources. Map 1 with top turned on, the rest off. 5 spawn time, 0 spawn rate, 1 increase time, 1 increase rate. betcha cant do it. this would be awesome with a level editor.

need some change to Garbage truck AI, they tend to aim towards the same pile of garbage. Becomes painful when you got loads of garbage all over the place & 20-30 trucks are all swarming towards that 1 pile.

I remember this game. I had a such a large negative score at the end of the campaign that I would've been the champ if this was golf.

Just so that everyone knows: SMOG IS NOT CO2. No amount of plants can clean up smog. In fact, smoggy air can collect over plants. Smog is a combination of SMoke and fOG, hence, the term SMOG.
