I was about to give this a solid 5/5 but that before I realized how much the controls suck. I want to aim independently, NOT automatic. So much work has been put into this, yet, one little thing has ruined it.

I dont like it either. Probably because of the obsolete retro look, weird controls, and the the "what does it have to do with anything?" storyline that is forced onto this otherwise ok arcade shooter. It reminds me alot of the crapy games you get on your mobile phone that you cant delete XD

How's money organized? I can get long chains and don't get hit and get less cash then without a chain and sucking at evasions. Weired. In addition the enemies shoot pink shots against the multishot thing this sucks, because you hardly see the shots coming through your own fire.

lol i beat loki ... basicly twice... i had to repeat when i almost killed it and was just about to activate invincibility but the stupid chain break came up and i couldn't use ability then died... but after i killed loki... lokis ship has horrible armor but intense ability

The targeting and offset are interesting. After I blow up a cube, the auto-target will always select a cube that is right next to me, and my ship will immediately blow the cube up in my face. This is lame.

Great controls, I like how you hafta think and practice to get the most out of them. I remember an old arcade game called... Nova 2089 or something that was like this. 5/5orited!

This is a shooter. The dialogue reminds me of Ikaruga. The bullet swathes of Radiant Silvergun, the upgrade and weapon system of Raptor Call of the Shadows. The chaining system once more of Ikaruga.
And to be certain - those are ALL excellent precedents.

The concept is really good, but the controls sucks hard, also the miniaturized writings are a bit difficult to fully understand the game.

Beating level 19 does give you the Excalibur and it isn't all that hard all you have to do is avoid getting shot up i suggest using the regenerating ship.

I can finished this game without buying any weapon, just upgrade the unit (chapter 20, Loki is too hard to defeat without changing weapon)

A swap to WASD would be nice. Maybe customize keys. The offset feature is very unique and while it does not seem like you designed the game, it takes it a step beyond click to shoot since you can only shoot forward and therefore must offset your angle to your weapon speed.
Too bad the English brings it down so much.

Once I began applying the offset the game began to really shapen up and show it's true colors great game. Favorite. 5/5

I'm disappointed that it's placing 6th right now, while that awful CycloManiacs game is winning. It's unjust is what it is. Unjust, I say!
