Hard mode... sigh, every level the opponents have an over whelming advantage over you. I beat it with a deck purely going for 100 castle hp, no attacks. This seems to work because computers are stupid. Your main building material will be crystals, and you WILL need to restart until you get a good hand, pixies FTW.

i have to say tho its not really fair turning it into a money game, at least make things like trojan horse and curse more expensive?? i hate it wen im just trying to get going and i get raped with a curse

I want this for iOS. The "AI" is silly sometimes - sacrificing builders etc when I only have 1 left anyway, or throwing a Magic Weapon Comet at me when I have a Magic Shield up makes no sense, but these fun moments are great to take advantage of in the last few levels. It can help turn the tide in my favor if the enemy keeps sacrificing his production away until he's only got 1 left of each! Despite the difficulties and seemingly unfairness of those levels, I've been coming back to play this game religiously for several years. It would be nice if someone picked it up, made some improvements, and released on mobile. 4/5.

Here's a few tips for the last enemy on hard: Remove all damage cards except for trojan horse, wain, ambush, and archer. Put all of those at 5 except archer, which can be 3 or 4. He'll have a huge wall after a few turns, so the direct damage cards will be pointless, but keep archer in to get rid of magic shields. Recruit, mage, and builder, aand all of the add material cards should be at 5. I'd advise having all remove material cards set at 0 since he usually has a huge stockpile anyways. Have 4 or 5 magic weapons cards in for obvious reasons. The rest of the stuff is up to you, though I'd advise not having too many building cards (despite the fact that I ended up winning by getting to 100 my first time, but that was because I hadn't set up my cards as much as I would've liked to.) Start by focusing on getting production up, using the add material cards to pay for production cards. Then try to use trojan horse with magic weapons on him, and finish him off with the other attack cards.

I'm wondering why here I'm constantly resetting my game until the opponent does NOT one-hit kill me with a dragon on his FIRST turn. There is no possible card to negate this that does not screw up the rest of the play. I can do +15 castle, but then I'm stuck with 3 bricks and 1 builder that doesn't get me anywhere. The game really looks good, but implementing a level that consists of rolling a dice until you get 6 simply doesn't make sense.

ugly bug found. i forced the enemy (cpu) to discard for 3 turns in a row, at the 4th, cpu did nothing, is just 'thinking' playing nothing and i cant do anything

It would be nice if there were rooms for different skill players. One minute a noob is complaining I knocked him out with a trojan card and the next i'm getting beat buy a guy who's played 2000 times and has payed money for custom cards. Maybe rooms where you have to have won so many times to enter. And also a room where you only battle with the default deck would be cool.

I played a game with someone for half an hour , upgrading and fighting , then i was about to kill him with a cannon then he quit the game......I was so pissed that i threw my DVD writer up in the ceiling and it hit my head....now i have a headache...

Got the Hard badge rather quickly using a totally Build oriented deck, basically all the buildings but schools, all the pixies, guards, thiefs, add/all bricks, add crystals, sacrifice builder. Main goal is to get on par with CPU on resource production, so restart the match immediately if you don't get Builder and at least another Builder/Mage/Recruit in the initial draw. If you manage to start this way, and to avoid a Curse or Trojan Horse from the CPU, you have fairly good chances to win the match.

I remember now why I only gave this stupid game one star. Even when you win a game it doesn't award the five point badge. One less BOTD this week.

the game is just as addicting as the first, but i have gripes with the resource counter. i think it needs color like the first to clearly distinguish at a glance the available resources, and maybe multilayering too so you can easily see which is your total resources and which is your resources per turn

i've just done the hard badge with following card deck:4x ambush, 5x thief, 5x recruit, 5x guards, 5x mage, 5x pixies, 3x magic wall, 2x magic defense, 2x magic weapons, 5x add weapons/crystals/bricks, 5x builder, 2x house, 5x babylon, 2x wall, 5x school, 5x fence, 5x wain, 2x large wall, 2x trojan horse. if you don't have trojan horse then just leave it out, it should work though. good luck with it :)

I love how the game looks now, graphic-wise. I was really excited to see this new update. But the interface leaves quite a bit to be desired. Not saying that the game isn't playable, but surely there had to be a less jumbled way of sorting the resources and suppliers. Otherwise, fantastic.

Actually,keys are stored in cookies? not in accounts? Decks,too.
They never get saved when i change pc,or restart it.

I started with the hard campaign, and completed it. Now I've got the hard badge but nothing more. What am I doing wrong? Why didn't I get the easy and the medium badge (the single player one)?

another way to handle the hard badge: go almost all magic. Add x will supply what's missing in other categories to deploy those cards. Also take a couple thieves, if you draw those early and Add/All weapon to use it, you'll hamper the pc bad + gain a little brick for your efforts. Just have recruit cards, wagons, and the most expensive cards otherwise. (2-3 bombs, cannons, catapults, schools, tavern, large wall, etc, archers for magic shield) Replace whatever you used the least with dragon when you get it, and don't be afraid to throw away a bunch at once, more worthwhile to get 3 new cards than waste a turn on a normal wall. Also since you're speeding through cards so fast you'll mess up the AIs that favour sabotage. With so many people producing resources and so much damage potential you'll stop the AI from winning by babylon/pixie combos as well. Basically if you can't play an attack, then you need to Add something or Discard.

I am unable to save any decks in online mode and all of the decks I made back in 2011 are deleted from my online account. Much sadness to be had.

Like other players said, just send a screenshot via "report missing achievement" to kongregate. Got the easy badge this way :)

So many people rage quit.... Thumbs up if you think you should get a win if your opponent rage quits. (This is what happened to me) My castle on 98 his castle on 3.I was just about to build tower when he rage quited.... What a wuss.

I hate that the player leaves just when your about to kill them and you don't even win. + if you think you should win if the other player quits.
