Very fun game, but only gets a 4/5 for two reasons. 1: Monsters have too much health, as you can see a lot of people complain in the comment section about it, so it's clearly a problem. Secondly, in the last dungeon I was warned that I would be surprised once I reached the end. What I was surprised about is that there was no final boss. I was so disappointed thinking there would be an epic boss fight... Oh well. Awesome game, hurry with the sequel!

I also have to ask a couple of things. Firstly, why give me a side quest to kill certain I'm not going to see until so much later, and give me a really worthless reward I won't really need because I'd be too powerful afterward? Secondly, why does the shield accessory give vitality points rather than dexterity (which even then makes little sense but that's the closest thing to defense in this game). Shields give you a better chance to block, they don't usually give you more life. Finally, why am I going through some cave filled with really tough monsters to get a book to learn how to swim? I really can't just, I don't know, ASK someone to teach me? Same with the pushing manual, you need a book to tell you how to push a rock? And I guess the manual only tells you how to push it one single space then never again unless you reset the screen.

The enemy poison and "drowning" is WAY too too overpowered. Enemy takes 5 damage from your poison, you take 300 when you have high HP.

I just finished this game and I was afraid about the grinding problem and 2 tons of hits per mob. The worst is not there. First, it has a max hp cap (15613) which pop out of nowhere so dont spend any point in vita, it's better to spend them in strenght or xp bonus for faster grind. Also, after you get the swim book, there is no quest to tell you where to go next so if you don't pay attention, you have to wander a bit to find next step. To put a conclusion, the end doesn't even worth the time spent to go there. Plenty of points to improve for this game.

I saved when I was under the effect of the venom in the cemetery... Now I don't have an antidote, and I don't have the time to reach a shop, so I'm dead. Nice realism.

Combat, the southeast deadspot: So, you can't swing a weapon towards the bottom-right. That's kinda irritating and an issue in a few screens. Would have been nice to have that not be a thing. Perhaps if I'd pressed both down and right at the same time?
Puzzles: So, yeah some puzzles would be nice. It helps to break up flow and not get burnt out on combat. There's a reason you keep seeing them in zelda games!

The caves/plateaus above Pandora's Cave, and the "Tree Cave" in Northern Plains (can enter, but mushroom can't be cut)... is this stuff meant to be bugged/unreachable, or am I just not getting it?

This was good, but imo a few things could have been different. First off, I agree with others that there needs to be more variety in combat with more magic-y things and w/e, esp. seeing as even alternating between melee/range here is a pain in the butt. I def. could have also used slightly more explanation as far as certain stats/abilities. For ex, luck says that it increases "item drops"...what items? Just the kind that drop from enemies? The kind you find when cutting bushes? But the two that really confused me were the two "critical" abilities for the bow and otherwise...the 'berserker hit' one next to axe mastery says "sometimes you make critical hits"...it doesn't address whether that's for just axes or for every weapon, and either way, no matter what weapon I used, I never saw a critical hit, even with level 9 critical hit. The exact same applies to the bow. I never saw a critical, regardless of the critical skill. What exactly are they supposed to do? Are they bugged?

i get the book to push rocks at the end of the dungeon... the only way to progress is to push a rock... i can't push anything... i can't use the book... i guess i won since this is the end of the game...

This game has some potential. It really does. I love the old school LoZ feel, but I can't look past some issues. Brief invulnerability, as has been said, would make a world of difference. A hotkey for potions would be appreciated. Not needing save points...the list goes on. If updates are made, and improvements implemented, I will be back. Otherwise...not so much.

Overall a decent game, it feels very incomplete though. It just feels more like pressing the key to attack and just pointless quests than any real story. You wake up and go out to find some guy's newspaper and next thing you know you're just going to Leviathan Cave. Closer towards the end, you just end up button mashing due to enemies have massive health. Maybe adding some sort of spell system to change things up a bit. It would be nice to have a mini map in the corner just to get some sort of idea where you are and maybe a quest marker with it. I could honestly live without the quest marker but the map would be very helpful. Also, adding the ability to hold multiple weapons and accessories. Maybe just a sword/axe/mace and a bow and two or three accessories. Although, since you said in the description, "...this retro-fashioned Zelda-like adventure game" you did get that feel but you forgot to add the ability to block.

Important: if the achievements aren't being registered, simply save your game and you will reap what you have sown. If you don't save, you won't receive your achievement!

Lazy, laggy, slow to load LOZ clone, nothing new or original here (bored after starting the first quest, always a good sign \o/.)
No explination of what different weapon will do for you (do they attack faster but are weaker? I dont know o_O)
Not even gunna aim for the hard badge here trying to be much better than it is x_X.

What is with the unbreakable mushroom blocking the path in the tree cave on the northern plains? There should be something in a cave that you can only get to by swimming.

you used rpg maker to make this game didnt you? it looks as though you did because i recognize most of the terrain that you used like the walls in the houses and such.

Would have been nice if there was a way to just hold down your attack button without having to furiously strike it constantly. Whether an option, or an upgrade that you buy, it would have made this game slightly more bearable.

I found a glitch in Pandora´s cave. Don´t walk further in just walk left on the block in the middle and you will teleport to the last boss!

Here are some suggestions for this game:
1) Separate slot(s) exclusively for rings only,
two preferred.
2) Potions that healed at 500, 1000,
and ALL, HP increments.
3) Magic Spells for healing dealing with enemies.
4) Places to go for recovery of full health and status.

Wish I could reset my Stats & Skills. Not a bad game. A little tedious But I'll always be a sucker for this "Zelda type" game. 4/5

This game has far too many flaws regarding balance and polish. Having beta testers would have been a sensible idea, or at least taking player's comments into consideration. This game is all grind and nothing else.

If anyone's having trouble with enemies having too much HP.. spec XP, Gold (10 is enough, tbh. I'm swimming in gold I can't spend), then Axes. Since enemies blink with invulnerability, the faster weapons don't add much DPS. I rarely had to hit anyone more than 6 times to kill it since I only got 20 Luck, 10 Vitality and the rest into Strength. Turns out I didn't need to boost anything but Strength :P Max Berserker Hit after Axes, of course, then Natural Armor (need 3 Sword Mastery). Sadly Berserker Hit only applies to Axes and Maces, or Bows could've been nice with two Crit skills.

so, the best way to beat monsters at the start of the game is to pin them against a tree and smack them repeatedly with your wooden sword? I feel unclean.........

The entrance to hell, the most feared place of all, is behind some rock. That's some great placement; why the hell did anyone build a village near it.

poisoned death just told me to stop playing this game. Lost 3 levels , almost had the whole cemetery place cleaned , all lost ? 2/5

I really like this and i have given it 5/5 because im having a blast. But i find i super annoying that the screens shift like this instead of smooth movement. Oftentimes i find myself trying to get to the "next screen" only to find something i cant see yet is blocking me. Ofte i run into monsters who steals my health. So.. scrolling along would be supersupercool if possible.
