In short? Replace "q is for 'quit the game'" with "q is for 'adjust visual quality'" and add more autoturret/missile/pulse RoF and damage/density boosts, and you've got a winner.

I really like this game, its a great concept and pretty good gameplay. Its maain problems are that, like people said, it gets very repetitive and jumps in difficulty after a while.
Its a good idea and you should take these comments and ideas and make a 2nd one to this, if you haven't already. 4/5 :)

I had a lot of fun with this, but as others have noted, it gets a bit laggy in the higher levels. And the cursor can get lost, especially when things start blowing up. And the game seems pretty easy for the first 25ish levels then gets near impossible over a very short number of levels. Balancing it out a bit to be harder early on and scale more linearly would help a bit.

Repetitive, laggy, tiring, the cursor camoflages, easy (I went 26 levels without losing 1 health), boring (I quit after level 26), overall: 2.

Good game. 4/5. I agreee with konthehated, it's a good game, but it gets very tiring. And it's to easy! I went through 25 levels and didn't lose a single health! Add more enemies, and make it harder, and maybe it will earn that 5.

I had a great time until the lag around level 26 was so bad, that I was trying to aim but ended up clicking on a link outside the game, thus ending my awesome run. A bit of a buzzkill, to be honest. Fix the horrible lag issues and this will be a great game!

LAG!
Poor Crosshairs - make them standout - NOT blend with background. Needs save.
Repetitive.
Still, fun concept and ok music/sound.
3.5 round to 4/5 to be encouraging...

Needs a whole lot of work, laggy on later levels and repetitive. Love the fact that your aim effects damage. Needs a more in depth shop and perhaps a story line.

Great concept, poor implementation. The lag kills the game. It makes one wonder if any playtesting was ever performed on this game in the first place. Perhaps an overzealous use of particle effects and poor space utilization are the causes... I don't know. Either way, it turns an otherwise fun little game into an obnoxious exercise in frustration. 3/5

very good i cou.ld play this all day but u should consider some bosses what turrets u want to place and where also a despcription of the enimeis would be nice one more thing if u would makeit like u are defending a base at start then ure fending off the enimy and pushing them back like they start run away thanks for listening

Agreed with the other comments. Lag is a MAJOR problem. Also seems to not let you want to buy upgrades past a certain point. If you're gonna set an arbitrary limit on the number of upgrades, tell the player how many they have left. And yeah, a few boss shapes would also be good.

decided to give it another go on extreme (was so bored that i forgot it had difficulty options earlier). definitely made it more interesting. the whole 'unavailable' paint completely over the upgrades gets annoying though. i like to see what i can buy so i know what to save for personally.

Enemy movement seems to stay constant regardless of frame rate, while firing time seems dependant on frame rate (i.e. I get laggy and I shoot less often, killing fewer enemies, causing more lag, causing eventually, Game Over).

desperately needs quality button, and maybe a few bosses here and there
the bosses could have specific weak points you have to target.....

kong api's plz :) i want a badge for it.
i love the concept, but i think it'd be more interesting if there were different types of your turret, like dart, machine gun, and maybe heat seeking rpg :D
4/5

Not a bad concept or game, but it suffers somewhat from being an unreleasable beta version. I imagine when the actual game comes out it will be quite good.

Needs to integrate with Kongregate. At level 28 my cursor became completely uncontrollable as the shapes crushed onto the screen.

Decent for what it is. Once you get all the towers maxed (around level 25) it gets pretty boring since there's no real motivation except for high score. All the towers are upgraded, and your cannon doesn't get any flashier the faster and more powerful it gets, while you've seen all of the enemies. Once it's a solid wave of blue and red raining down but they don't get any closer than half-way through the screen you know the game is essentially over.

its an ok game. its the same as most of the other turret defense type games, but with fewer upgrades and enemies that dont increase in difficulty much.

I know this game was uploaded a while ago, but I'm moving it to the front just now because it was a little overlooked and its rating seems to be going up pretty steadily.

game lags at higher levels and i couldn't see a "detail" option. I guessed it was "q" key but it ended my game, noone seems to read the info about q button on the difficulty menu, and we don't have to. This is global man, q changes quality!... 2/5
