My only problem was with controls not always responsive but I understand since this was a game about confronting within oneself, some would be hesitant to move forward to see the problem and see the problem from within. But very great game

i have discovered a glitch: in the level "walljump", i used the spikes to climb even higher after i did the walljumps. This way i got out of the screen, on top of the blocks. I walked to the left and then i got stuck.

Oh wow, the top after you defeat your Shadow changes into various mostly nonsensical anagrams of DECEPTION (the level name)... But then right before it gets destroyed it becomes POETICEND. :o Which explains the name of the badge. Brilliant, amazing!

Wow, I loved this game. Maybe I should see what else they made *Clicks Other Games* YOU MADE TOWER OF HEAVEN TOO? YOU ARE A GOD AMONG MEN!

I liked it all very much except for one thing: The jump key is unreliable. I understand that this is a game about being lied to, but having the jump key occasionally not work just made the platforming sequences unfairly difficult (it's possible this is due to some weirdness of my keyboard and not the game programming, and if so please disregard).

ending 1/2 (trapped forever).........just go through the portal.
ending 2/2 (free)............at the final stage , just go down and stay for 20 second or so and you'll notice the light will run out and just pass through the wall youll have only 2 bullets pinpoint the first one one the yellow block then at the position when your shadow comes out JUMP then throw your bullet while still holding your arrow keys and that,ll interrupt the symmetry of your shadow

For the ending 2/2, once the screen starts breaking, the level name (Deception) randomly changes, and the last jumble of letters that appear before you go into the other part of the level is POETICEND...

This game should be tagged as educational. It's true. It's about fear. Fear tells you to do something the easiest way, even if sometimes it's not the best way. For example if you have a test, most people try to copy because it's easier and they are afraid of tests. But sometimes it's better not to because you can get caught.
Fear in this game tells you opposite so you won't escape the cage. Why? Because it's safe inside the cage. You are afraid to escape without knowing what's outside. The song helps. This game and the song gave me shivers and left a mark in my soul.

@boredpoo It actually would have made even more sense if you could control him with the arrow keys and kill him in the spikes, since he was telling the truth from his perspective the whole time.

The "guy" represents your fear. All he does all the time is showing you the easiest way to get out from most situations. But, in life, easy ways do never lead to a good ending, they just seem to be more efficient to a poor wided vision. At the final showdown you have to be really courageous to try facing something that harms you (the gems), and when you do so, your fear disappears and you get free. Good game, I like it. 5/5

excellent game.. but man that ending was tough. The fact that I had to retry dozens of times is surpassed by the fact that half of those were because I missed the first block (or lodged the spike too low)

While I love the concept, and the artwork for this game, I find that the controls are unwieldy and frustrating. Jumping is often hit-or-miss, making several levels a lot more difficult than they should be. I don't know if this was intentional, but it really detracts from the game for me. 3 out of 5 for awkwardness.

Walkthrough to the endings.
1- Just get in the portal
2- Stand near the portal and wait it to turn off. Then go on and get the spikes. Use 1 of them to get over the big wall. To destroy your "mirror" You have to JUMP AND STAY on the gem blocks, then throw the spike. Most of the times, your mirror will die since he doesn't have a spike to throw.
